Savonlinna Rentals

Simple, but both convenient and comfortable. The rooms are sp****ly furnished, but this is a location where you only come for the sleep Good firm mattress, very clean, bathrobe and slippers in the room.

We spent three nights in Savonlinna Rentals. It’s an excellent base from which to explore. Their website has plenty of additional information about the area and practical advice about parking etc. Easy contactless check in. The whole interior was virtually new. Excellent Wi-Fi. Two washing machines, two showers and three WCs shared between ten rooms. This was fine in practice. Some of the rooms have kitchens, otherwise there’s a shared kitchen with everything you might need. There was a bit of a muck up with our booking, as the twin room we reserved had been remodelled as a single room after we’d booked. This meant a fold away bed on our first night and two different rooms in the other two nights. Bit of a pain packing and unpacking all the time but the owner made it as painless as possible for us and they were both nicer rooms than the one we’d booked so no real problem.

Good place! Clean, quite and has everything necessary in there. Easy to find, grocery stores and cafes are close. Would be great to have more parking lots nearby, though.. But good value for money 👍🏻

Stayed here last week. Easy access and safe parking for our motorbikes. It was very clean and tidy and QUIET. Nice communal area to us and good wifi. That's it really, just nice and clean and just what you want when stuck for somewhere to stay.

The layout of this lodging is that you have private bedrooms with shared bathrooms, showers, and kitchen. Everything was spotlessly clean. The kitchen has all the basics you would need to cook for yourself. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Clean, silent

We stayed for one night in room called Sopukka. It was very clean and nice. There was no window so we could get the room really dark during the night. That is important in Finland during the summer since the sunrise is quite early. Our room located on the other end of the hallway a far away from the kitchen and it was very quiet. The kitchen had everything we needed and shops were close by. The location was perfect.

We liked the central location. Very good amenities. Missed nothing.
