We were looking for a very relaxing stay. While surfing on the web we found, by chance, this hotel. Located in a mountain village, without cars, with a nice wellness center, was the perfect choice. Two ways, to reach Stoos. We decided for the steepest funicular in the world (but the parking is not free) and the ride is, by himself, a show. The hotel is located in a lovely position at the boundary of the village, perfectly oriented to the sunset. We got very friendly welcome and a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel is well designed, even if not very recent. The room was very comfortable even if not extremely large. The wellness area very well organised (unfortunately there was a new sauna not completed, yet) with some perfect sauna/steam bath cabins (not too large) and a wonderful whirlpool (please note, the area is nude). Outside the area, a swimming pool, a small gym and, outdoor, a sunbathing garden and a small Jacuzzi. Relaxing rooms very comfortable and clean. Even if not too large, definitely a top level wellness area. The restaurant is top level too. We decided for "à la carte" dinner and we got wonderful service and food. The "goat cheese tiramisù" was probably one of the most incredible dish I have ever tried and, by itself, worth the entire dinner. The staff always friendly, service excellent. The final price of the stay was aligned to the Swiss standard for this level of quality. If you are looking for a very very very relaxing stay, with a reasonable price and you're not afraid of the nudity in the wellness area (normal, in this part of Switzerland), one of the best place I've ever visited. Strongly suggested!
