We were riding through the mountains and found this lovely place to stay with a great restaurant. The view of the mountains is beautiful at sunset. Dinner was delicious and the wine was locally made. The rooms are spacious and beds comfortable.

This is a beautifully renovated 500 year old schloss which combines traditional and modern perfectly. with superb hosts. The decor is lovely, our room was huge, well equipped, very comfortable and stylish. Combined with an award winning restaurant serving a delicious dinner and a good breakfast, this provided a perfect stopover, but would also be a great base for a few days walking/exploring the region.

We found the last available room in this restaurant with accommodation and we were lucky! The value for money goes beyond all expectations. A restaurant that has nothing to envy of the starred ones and with a very interesting local wine list and rooms that are real apartments. Simple, clean and welcoming. I highly recommend a stay in this lovely property.

After a strenuous day of cycling, we received a very friendly welcome in the evening. We tried 3 different wines from the area and then enjoyed 1 bottle. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. The staff were open-minded and very friendly. Definitely one of the best dinners we have had in Switzerland so far. The restaurants in Zurich could learn a thing or two from this. The price-performance ratio was also good. Very nice ambience and stylish evening atmosphere. We will be back.....

Very pleasant hotel in a quiet location. The room was very tastefully decorated and very large. Although there is a large restaurant on the ground floor, you can't hear anything in the room. Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff.
