UH Suite Seoul Deoksugung

We had a wonderful stay in Seoul! This is a great hotel. The hotel has the best suites on the 4th and top floors. We were thankfully upgraded to the suite on the 4th floor. The room was really spacious and luxurious for our family of four, including adult children. The main room had two double beds for the couple, and the children shared the two rooms with one double bed. There are two toilets, showers, and sinks, so it's perfect for groups or two-generation trips. Each room has a mirror, which is convenient, and a good hair dryer is also provided. There is also a private sauna room, which I think is especially great for winter travel in Seoul. The living room even has a large sofa and a sunken kotatsu space. We were able to warm up takeout meals in the microwave and make and eat cup ramen, which is unique to Korea, and have a comfortable stay. If I had to mention one thing that bothered me, There were cups and plates, but I couldn't find any spoons or chopsticks, so if you stop by a convenience store, don't forget to get some from the counter. The TV remote control was all Korean and I couldn't use it properly, so I ended up watching videos by connecting my smartphone to the HDMI I brought with me. There are pajamas, but no pajamas, so if you forget them, you can get some on the spot. As other people have said in their reviews, one of the shower booths had poor drainage and was difficult to use. That was the only thing I was concerned about, and it was a wonderful stay with overwhelmingly more good things! I communicated with the hotel staff via LINE, which was provided at check-in. Using a translation app makes it easier to communicate than by phone. Although it is located in a hotel, it is also close to Myeongdong. To get there, leave the hotel and go right, turn right at the corner of GS25, take exit 4 of the Myeongdong Underground Shopping Center, and exit exit 15, which is one of the main streets in Myeongdong. It's about 10 minutes from the hotel, so it's not a hassle to go back and forth every day and night. The underground shopping center is well lit, and even at 11pm, there are locals walking around as usual, so there is no need to worry when returning from Myeongdong Night Market. There are many restaurants near the hotel, so you can hear local office workers getting drunk and chatting away in a cheerful manner. There are many respectable office workers in this area, so the security is also good. As for the location, City Hall Station is right in front of the hotel, and Seoul Station is within walking distance. There are many Starbucks, local cafes, chicken shops, and restaurants nearby, so you won't have any trouble getting takeout. There is a 7-Eleven just next door. This has become a long review, but overall it is a great hotel that exceeds its value, and is especially great for trips of 4 or more people!
