Mercure Ambassador Seoul Hongdae

The location is excellent with convenient transportation. Downstairs is a pedestrian street, making it super easy to find food, drinks, entertainment, and shopping. The room is clean and hygienic. Highly recommended!

My flight was delayed, so I ended up staying an extra night. Check-out is at 12 PM, but if you want to check out at 1 PM, there's a charge of around 120 RMB. It's super convenient for dining and shopping. The evenings were pretty quiet too, and the shower pressure was great.

Aside from breakfast, which wasn't great (though I usually stay in 5-star hotels or above), this Mercure was actually pretty good. I personally prefer more modern decor. It was easy to find for taxis and close to a food street, so quite convenient. However, the smartest move would be to skip breakfast and avoid a balcony room for the best value. A balcony is just one square meter and not really useful, and breakfast is better at the convenience store outside.

The location is unbeatable, making it super convenient for getting around. It's just a 2-minute walk from Hongdae subway station exit 9, and there are plenty of food and drink options nearby. The free mini-bar was a nice touch!

The location is excellent, very close to the subway station, making it convenient to get to the main street and Yeonnam-dong. The hotel is right by the main road, so it's easy to catch a taxi. We were on a high floor, so we couldn't hear any traffic noise. The staff provided excellent service; if we had any issues, a quick phone call would get someone up to our room to handle it, and their English was perfect with no accent. After checking out, I realized I had left some jewelry in the room. After inquiring, I quickly received a confirmation call, and they were also able to store our luggage for us after checkout.
