SPECTACULAR! The animal viewing was great but the experience was over the top. We were (unfortunately) stranded overnight in the Serengeti due to rain upriver. However, our driver (Jackson) and Safari Director (Kennedy with Micato) took care of everything. We had dinner and breakfast provided when stuck in the Serengeti. It was an awesome and rare experience. If you are looking for a safari - look to MIcato and the Migration Camp (Elewanna). You will not be disappointed!

This place is incredible and I would recommend to anyone. Gorgeous views, amenities, and quite the glamping experience. The hippos who live at the river tend to come into the camp at night so that was quite an experience hearing them right outside our tent. Our guide, Moses was simply amazing and we learned so much from him. Everyone we encountered at the camp was friendly and helpful. They even had an on-site doctor who was able to help me with the side effects I was experiencing from my malaria pills. Thank you Albert! And we will never forget our incredibly kind server, Julius, who took great care of us at every meal. We absolutely hope to stay here again someday - be sure to go if you have an opportunity! I have to also mention that when we left this camp they arranged for Lazarus to drive us to our next camp a couple of hours away. Lazarus spent the entire day with us on safari. He asked us if there was anything we had not seen yet and the only thing on our list was a cheetah. He really went the extra mile and called around to track down where the cheetahs may be - and boy did he deliver! This "transfer" from one camp to another ended up being the best day of our safari - and Lazarus made this happen. We so appreciated the extra effort he took to make our day. Thank you so much!

As part of our early February Micato Safari we spent 3 nights at this amazingly beautiful and adventurous tent lodge with hippos 50 yds from our back deck facing the river and Wildlife roaming all around us day and night! The staff, the food, the drinks, and most importantly the Game Drives were all exceptional! Thanks so much to Lazarus and his team for this most wonderful stay!!

I adored this place! They had fabulous staff and the food was delicious. We lucked out and our group of 8 had it to ourselves. It is so remote and otherworldly- I’ve never experienced anything like this. Our “tent” was gorgeous- bedding, bathroom, chandelier, deck…..

Elawana Migration Camp was the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely staff, and given a brief summary of what to expect while visiting. Lazarus, the manager, was extremely friendly and gave us a tour of the property, including the swimming pool and sunset deck overlooking the river with hippos, buffalo, and an assor**ent of birds! The deck had ample seating and a great bar which was utilized every night for delicious cocktails and snacks before dinner. Our cabin was extremely comfortable with a large bed, double vanity bathroom, large shower, and living space. It also had a spacious private deck which had scenic views of the river and surrounding area! Anold, our concierge, made sure we were always taken care of while we were on the property. The restaurant provided us with amazing views of the river and the meals were always delicious! One night we have a traditional Tanzanian BBQ by the river which was amazing. They also had a great gift shop which was the perfect place to purchase souvenirs for ourselves and family. If you have the chance to add migration camp to your itinerary, it will not disappoint!

Superb jungle camp experience in Serengeti migration camp. Mr. Lazarus, a manager who knows how to keep his team as one big family. Appreciate his and his team Mr. Ola, our ranger was excellent, knowlegable and joyful - very sweet person and we enjoyed our game drives. Special thanks to him for teaching us their special hakuna matata song. Mr Hemedi pampered us and understood our pure vegetarian dietery preferences along with chef. House keeping staff, Victor and Rose took extra special care to keep our rooms insect free. Security team escorted us to and fro, made sure we were comfortable. Ms. Margeret was so courteous and always smiling and interactive. The restaurant staff Inviolata and Anold superb in their services and always smiling. Overall felt like one big family under one roof. They arranged a special surprise on the last day by singing n dancing for us. Very well managed overall and will always remember our stay.

Serengeti Migration Camp by Elewana is just fantastic! Situated in the middle of Serengeti you will always be close to wildlife and fall asleep at night listening to lions or hyaenas. The rooms (tents) are spacious and very comfortable and are all surrounded by a 360° terrace. The staff is just amazing and service perfect. Nothing is impossible and I really enjoyed my 4 nights stay and just hope to come back soon. The only “problem” is that there are quite a lot of stairs to climb up and down which could be difficult if you have problems walking.

Elewana is so incredibly special! Our group of 4 ladies enjoyed our stay in June so much. This place is first class, but the people are truly the highlight. Many thanks to Sirili, Bwire, Rose and Lazarus for making our stay extraordinary. The food is delicious, the property is lovely and my absolute favorite was the staff singing Jamba Bwana. The whole experience was a treat and we will cherish the memories, and hope to come back soon!
