Are here from 29 of May till 9th of June. Great hotel out of the crowd with friendly and helpful staff. Private beach directly at the sea. Great food and ambiance for the offered price. Bus to Rethymnon is only 10 min away for 1,60 € single ride. A visit to Rethymnon and Chania are a must as well as a quad day trip and the Samrian gorge. 😁😁😁

The hotel is located in a beautiful spot with gorgeous sea and beach the water is clear an the beach is clean , There are a few shops an coffee shops an restaurant not big on night life u would need a taxi into the old town for night life , We had a family suit which was spacious and clean . No mini bar or drinks in the room u have to drink at the bar , One swimming pool clean an good for kids of all ages . Loads of sun beds beach bar with music and drinks . Small kids room with a few toys entertained the kids after dinner . There’s no night entertainment only a dj on a Tuesday night . So hotel was asleep by midnight . Good if ur looking for a chill time . The food was lovely not a massive choice but the quality was 10/10 the staff in the restaurant were amazing and friendly , always happy to help and have lovely conversations. Crete is a beautiful island and definitely needs exploring there’s loads to do and see for all ages . You can rent a car from just two minutes away from the hotel . There is a bus stop also so you can bus into town . Would definitely return . Thank you to all staff especially Michael an koula in the restaurant, they went completely out of their way for us they made our holiday that bit more special 🩷u will be welcomed with the most beautiful people taking care of u on your stay .

I stayed in the hotel with my family (incl 4 children – 5, 11, 14, 20😉) for two weeks and found it very friendly, comfortable, with a cozy atmosphere and good location for sightseeing the most spectacular places in Crete. What we do like in the hotel: First of all great hospitality and proffesionalism of the Staff (!!!) – kind and caring Manager and his Team, the Restaurant and Bar Service are of very good proffesional skills, the Man who takes care of pools is very thorough. Morover: - very tasty and good quality meals (!!!) - greek cuisine, delicious sweets (!!!) – my children loved them, mostly local foods, wide selection of fresh local (!!!) vegetables and local (!!!) fruits, there is selection of dishes for vegetarian (!!!), however some days the vege selection should be more rich in protein on lunch and dinner, tasty and fresh snacks and vegetable/fruits salads in the pool bar; - silence (!!!) - there is no artificial noisy and distracting entertainment: no animation for kids 😊😊😊 and no loud music 😊😊😊 – I spent time with my children in closeness and could still admire the beauty of Crete we experienced on trips; - calm music in the lift; - simplicity (!!!) in interior and exterior design and timetable, colours of the nature - white/olive/beige/brown, no unnecessary things and activites - I could really calm my mind and rest; - high standards of cleanness (!!!), including pools, which are perfectly clean; - very comfortable rooms; - cool wind from the sea (!!!) everywhere, all the time, early in the morning you will find the wind also on hotel’s corridors – try not miss it (!!!); - clean sandy beach, enough wide to take comfortable sun and sea baths – while daily exercising on the beach sand, I did not find any pieces of rubbish on, under or close to my body (!!!), the hotel is laid on the seashore, so the beach is pratically part of the hotel. I do appreciate an efforts to support enviromental care: - room cleanning and changing of the towels possible also on demand (!!!) – for me the room does not need to be cleaned and towels washed every day, to have done it the message must be sent electronically to the reception; - reusable plastic cups, no plastic accessories or any other unnecessary accesories for drinks in the pool bar, however I wish they were also for snacks; - nice bins for segregation of rubbish everywhere they are needed, bin for used baterries and electronics near reception; - possibility to fill empty water bottle with mineral water from the restaurant or pool bar (!!!). For those who like sightseeing: - good location for trips to Central and West Crete – easy and fast access to national road as well as the road to south coast and Psiloritis Mountains, we made a cruises on our own by rented car: we set out of hotel at 3 pm to: *Elephterna Museum and Arkadii Monastir, *Elephterna Archeological Site, *Rethymno, *Heraklion Archeological Museum, *Knossoss Palace, *Maleme and Souda Cementeries, we set out of hotel at

The hotel is very clean and has extremely comfortable beds and pillows, clean towels issued daily and you can get clean beach towels daily for 10 euros deposit. The hotel is in a quite area, close by are a supermarket , 2-3 tavernas and car hire and tourist trips can be booked at the car hire centre. A coffee snack bar and a restaurant. You can catch a bus from the bus stop (10 minute walk) to Rethymon or Heraklion. If you turn left out of the hotel and walk down the road for 5 minutes you will come to a car hire centre, you can book tourist trips from here. We went on a day trip to Chania and a second trip we took to Elafonisi beach, this took us up into the mountains and to a beautiful beach. Plenty of food to select from and always a special personal service. Michael and his team of staff in the dinning Hall were so friendly and accommodating. Michael greeted us each night and made sure that everything was ok During the evenings there is an outside bar and terrace where you can sit and watch the sunset. Bar closes around 11pm and most people are in bed around 11.30pm. Once a week there is a live DJ until 11.00pm. The sea is very warm and has a sand bank after a few metres , waves can be choppy some days but mostly calm seas. The bar is by the beach and the bar staff were very friendly and helpful, supplying us with Raki and wine. You can also get fruit, pizza and cake from the bar during the day time. Sun beds are comfortable and free on the beach. Whilst on holiday , we had a knock on the door one morning and a lady arrived with a birthday cake , bowl of fruit and a bottle of wine for my husband's birthday and a lovely birthday card from Christos (Hotel Manager). This was a lovely unexpected surprise for my husband and myself.

When we arrived to the hotel, the coach driver didn’t know where it is as it is fairly new. It genuinely is in the middle of nowhere so beware of that before booking. There isn’t much surrounding the hotel apart from a few restaurants and a supermarket. We didn’t have the best weather when we arrived - it rained for 4/7 days when we were there so we spent a lot of time inside the hotel. We also found the area to be super windy since it’s near the sea. There is nothing to do at all apart from sit in your room really. There is no entertainment and very limited seating in the lounge upstairs near reception so evenings were quite boring. When we booked, looking on the website and how it is advertised, we read we could book trips and excursions however the hotel offered none. We booked our own trip through an independent taxi company found online to go to Rethymno city centre as there was nothing for us to do. This hotel is for people who like to sunbathe especially and have a holiday where you lay about. The staff spoke amazing English which made us feel very welcome as British travellers and we were actually the only British people in the hotel! Physically, the hotel was beautiful and had an abundance of amenities but I feel a lot of the facilities were lacking: the pool was freezing, it would probably benefit from some kind of heating in the colder months. When we got there they were putting up a fence and chopping wood next to the pool which was very strange. In terms of entertainment, something needs to happen as there said there was a “games room” however it was just a tv with a games console but no instructions or guidance of how to play etc. It was very formal and had a conference room for some reason. The food was okay. There was no authentic Greek food really and it was all unlabelled, which is honestly dangerous and unprofessional, until they started on the 4/5th day we were there because someone senior was clearly on the property. There was a lot of “mystery meat” that didn’t look great. There was a okay selection of salad, bread, hot food and dessert however a lot of the time we ended up with chips and a bread roll because we didn’t like anything or we didn’t know what it was. The one time I did try something I thought was spaghetti bolognaise, it was basically drowned in garlic and was inedible. There was also a lot of seafood however down to personal preference, we didn’t eat any of it. It also says there was snacks included however it just seemed to be leftovers from dinner, not snack like crisps, ice cream etc. The staff had no faults at all. They were all genuinely lovely and so generous. There was a lovely man who ran the restaurant who greeted us every morning and brought us our drinks, remembering our order! They had lovely waitresses too who were very jolly and always at hand to help. The bar staff were great (and generous with their measurements) and always had a smile on their face! Definitely recommended having an

+ The hotel is renovated recently, which is a huge plus - clean white towels, white bed linen, new fittings in the bathrooms, no signs of wear and tear + The hotel is right next to a small beach, sunbeds and umbrellas are included in the price, there is a bar by the beach, the bartender Ervis does a great job there + Very good food, quite varied, everyone should find something for themselves + Good, but diverse service in the restaurant - manager Michalis is always exactly where he should be, trying to take care of everything and entertaining the guests with conversation, he is not too pushy, which is very nice and polite. The level of waiters' service is very diverse - some work sensationally, but they are mainly foreigners who want to work. The waiter Vangelis is actually doing the job for three other people himself, so he is definitely worth appreciating. Fast pace of work, high personal culture, nice waiter skills. - It is definitely not a hotel for people with children, because there are no attractions for them - there is one tiny room, practically empty - as a child I would be completely bored there. There are no animations or attractions - It is worth booking a room with a sea / pool view in advance, the rooms in the other part of the hotel face a busy highway and it is very noisy, it is difficult to sleep - Far from the center, in the village there is only one shop, a tavern, a cafe, the area is very neglected, beaches do not encourage walking - In the evening, absolutely nothing happens in the hotel, it's totally boring, no attractions for adults, parties, themed evenings, but if someone needs peace and quiet, this place is perfect

Here s my feedback for WOH - Crete Positive things we observed + very nice staff, like they are so kind all the time, very helpful and speak to you very nice, i was impressed + great pool, very clean and nice water, blue and no chlorine smell- I really liked it What needs to be improved from what we observed: - we payed extra for a Swim Up room but we didn't recivied it until de 4th day of our staying - regardless of all the system problems (that we undestood) we felt like no one cared, so for what we payed we didn't recieved. (I hope the manager of the hote sees this and in the future they resolve the problem) - very noisy hotel with loud music playing on the corridors - you litteraly have to fight for sunbeds (everyone is taking their towel and throws them at 6 am in the morning than leaves the sunbed like they own it although they dont sit there) - you are on survival mode for sunbeds UNBELIVABLE - all the time wet in the bathroom beacuase of bad Showers - food was decent but very poor in fish and all the fish was like frozen fish - it tasted funky all the time (you are in Greece though, fish run on the street) - very poor in drinks (beer and wine, but no spirits drinks) and for an all inclusive hotel we were dissapointed that they served us with the drinks @White Olive Hotel, You have to work harder in order to deserve those 5*. Kind regards, A dissapointed Customer
