“Great location, close to the subway and shopping areas. The rooms are clean and beautifully designed. However, the downside is that some people sneak out to smoke in the hallway outside the rooms, and I could smell the smoke in my room.”

Worst hotel ever. Poor service. I had stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during 12-14 Oct. Air condition was not working, they said it under maintenance just open the window. Even I tried to explain that I had booked the room with Air condition. I paid over 100 us dollars per night exclude breakfast. Front desk kept speaking in Chinese do not respond anything, even though I spoke in English explain that the room was too hot at that time. Finally, they sent us the fan as the picture. So not recommend it. Not worth for your money. The hotel is in the middle of huahai Rd, very close to subway but not worth to pay. just find other hotels instead. There is TV in your room but pretty poor network, you couldn't watch anything. The room was super dirty and old as the pictures. The pictures of the hotel have been posting in trip.com are out of date. no more Watson in the front of the hotel anymore.

Room is spacious! We choose Business Suite type as we have 2 adults and 1 kid, and it is just perfect! We got super big room with 2 big bed (1.50m) and a living area with 2 sofas, plus a large bathroom with separate wash basin outside the bathroom so when the bathroom is occupied other people can still use the wash basin which is a smart idea. Beds are comfortable. Hotel is in great condition in the middle of the city where the neighborhood is very safe and not noisy at all. Right next to hotel are cafes and McDonalds. Across the street is KFC and a local tea stall. Family Mart is 200m away round the corner. Very happy with the place. Subway station is 1 block away or you can just call taxi in front of hotel it is very easy to travel around. Overall i’m very happy with this hotel and if i got a chance to come back to Shanghai I will definitely choose this hotel again!

Nice location.... Great place.... Room is new... But the global.service can be improved....attitide is not that friengly

The hotel is very small but comfortable. The room walls need painting refresh- they are very dirty. The AC did not work in warm mode when I arrived so I was frozen in the room. It was only fixed next morning. The breakfast has very limited choice, although it’s enough for business travelers, I would not suggest it for families with kids.

The young man at the front desk was outstanding in his friendliness and helpfulness. The room itself is quite adequate for a one night stay. My quibble with this room was the CLEAR glass around the toilet. To top it off, the additional placement of a large mirror allows someone lying in bed to have a full view of said toilet. Incredibly baffling design.

The room slightly smaller, but overall good and clean! Specially the location, all nearby with good food and malls.

Nice and clean hotel, comfort room and great location! The location just next to the train staion. Plenty of cafe and restaurants are around shopping street and malls. Good time to stay here!

The JinChen hotel is right on the city streets of Huangpu just a five minute walk to iapm and other downtown destinations. The hotel is showing its age with some odd paint here and there. We had one of three suites and friends had a standard room. There was a noticeable difference in size and comfort. The breakfast was local food items and looked ok, but we didn’t try it.

Cute little hotel in the shopping and cultural center of shanghai. Rooms are just spacious enough for 1 person (perhaps a couple) but beware there is no frosting on shower doors 🙈 Didn't try the food as therr are plenty good dining spots within walking distance. Seems like the hotel also had a beautiful summer terrace but it was closed during my visit.

Large clean and comfortable room. Polite and considerate staff. I often stay at other hotels nearby and will be staying here in the future. ☺️
