I came back a second time because it’s a good price and space for solo traveler. Plus I enjoy this area of town for its liveliness, scenery, and it’s food. The ladies that work here are friendly and will help you find places to eat if you like. It’s generally clean but this isn’t really a holiday hotel. They are serviced apartments. Best for solo or friend travel or perhaps business.

Good services

We spent 4 nights at Yaping Hotel and I totally recommend it. For me the location was perfect, because despite not being in the center, it is a very local area and allows you to get to know better how people live in Shanghai. It is a neighborhood full of life and very well connected with public transport. The room in question was somewhat simple (that's what we had requested) but they cleaned it whenever you asked, they changed sheets and towels and replenished gel and shampoo. Of course, the cleaning should be improved because, especially in the bathroom, it is very insufficient. The staff that works there is super friendly.

The environment is very good, the price/performance ratio is absolutely acceptable, I have stayed here several times, it is much better than other hotels, there is no musty smell, I am very satisfied with the price. The room is not dark at all, it is brighter than other hotels.

The room is clean and tidy, the surrounding transportation and business are convenient, and the staff are warm and thoughtful!

We went to the front desk and they said the room we booked was not available and we had to pay 10 yuan more to change it! I really don't understand why they put up a sign saying there were no rooms? Besides, I had booked it!

The room is big enough and the bath water is not small. For this price, this hotel is pretty good. Don't worry about soundproofing and new or old facilities. Every time I stay up too late and don't go back, I treat this place as a temporary home, where I can sleep and take a bath. It's very nice. The surrounding shopping is very convenient, and the service at the front desk is also good. Every time I was afraid of oversleeping, I asked them to register and wake up, but they did it and their attitude was very good. Overall, it's quite good.

Don't come, don't come, don't come!!! The lowest score is 1, or I'll give it 0! The window is an indoor window! It's right in the corridor! It says no smoking, but the corridor and the room are full of smoke!!! What should I do if the smoke smell is too strong? Is the solution to spray some air freshener? ? ? The room is a half-floor renovation, which is very depressing! The head of the bed is against the stairs to the upper floor! There is no sound insulation at all!!! ***It was past midnight and I don't know what the room far away was doing, it was so noisy!!! The kettle was so dirty! I stayed there for a total of ten minutes and couldn't stay any longer, so I changed to another hotel, and the room fee was not refundable!!! Don't come! Don't come! Don't come! There are a lot of hotels not far away, Yunrui Hanting Duoya! It's more than 100 yuan more expensive, but the conditions are much better than this garbage place! And they even provide breakfast!!!

This is really the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The wall at the head of the bed is peeling, and the quilt head looks like it hasn't been washed for ten years. I don't know if the room smells like feet or feces. I regret not checking the room before checking in. The carpet in the corridor is so dirty that you can't see the original color. The corridor smells like a mixture of feet and cigarettes. I feel sick when I see the room. I will never stay in this hotel again.

The air conditioner is not hot at all. The water is not good. Anyway, the stay is not pleasant.
