Beds are confortable. But not easy to climb the bed. It was very difficult for me.

The hostel it isn’t in the main center but with just two metro line (line 2 and line 14) you can reach all the main attraction of Shangai, without taking too long. I tried two different room (because I add one more night once I arrived at the hostel) and the second one was very comfortable (the share room with 4 bunk bed and a private bathroom). The “patio” outside was very nice to read some books, have a dinner or just chat and take some fresh air.

Shared rooms are pretty standard. The AC is blasting which was nice, and which helped circulate the complex mustiness birhed from 8 dudes. The hostel has a nice big common space and a little outdoor area WIFI is pretty decent as well.

It works , for solo travelers on a low budget, the area around is very bubbly so if you’re looking for something cheap and comfortable just for a few days , would recommend

This property is conveniently located very close to Shanghai city centre, just 20-30 minutes walk to Jin'an Temple. The place is pretty clean, common area is spacious and very nice, it's pretty comfortable there to read or work on your laptop, or just chit chat with friends. There's also quite a lot of personal space in dormitory rooms: each bed has curtains, individual light, electric socket and shelves, also a lot of hooks for clothes, and a locker. Suggestion: it'd be nice if they also provide bath towels

- shower room: very old, broken and dirty - staff: especially the female staff was terrible. She is very rude and unfriendly. I did nothing wrong, but she looked upset. There was a problem with my locker. I asked a male staff, and then she came. Saying nothing and having it fixed in an irritable manner, she left my bed.. I can’t understand why she acted like that.

Been to Dengba since 2017. Still, great place to crash for a couple of nights. The location is awesome. They also save you if you can’t find options. But it slowly gets worse: tenants and their nasty habits, loud phone watching, the spot gets messier and needs renovation. Staff is as great as before. Not that youth place anymore we used to love.
