The hotel room is so comfy and clean. We love the big 2 beds. The breakfast line got variety. Hot meal station is delicious, dumpling. Service is good. Reception can speak a little bit of English. We carry breakfast box on the way to airport for early flight. It's well pack, and great. Kids love playroom. And the tent. The only thing I could suggest is it would be perfect if the bed a bit firm. Overall, we satisfy with the stay.

Love the free shuttle buses to Disneyland and the major airport and train stations! Really such a great perk! The hotel itself is also really nice and family friendly!

Very good hotel and location if you’re just staying purely for doing Disneyland. There are no nearby supermarkets except for family mart (with limited variety). There are also very limited food choices (unless you order food delivery, which foreigners can’t use *******, we could only use Ele.me). Other than Disneyland, Shanghai wildlife park is not far also. However to get into the city, it takes around 40-50 mins using Didi (taxi). There is a self service laundry but need to use app to pay, which I wasn’t able to download, so I ended up not washing at all. I guess you could ask the staff for help. Shuttle buses leave quite on time, the timing changes probably every few weeks to a month, so take note. Will need to book the night before. The rooms are big for the family room which we booked. Breakfast choices are quite limited in my opinion (because we stayed 5 nights, pretty much the same food everyday). If you’re just staying 2-3 nights I suppose it’s fine. There is a small indoor playground for kids and also from 9-11am there are crafts work. Overall a good hotel but just note the far location from city and limited food options.

We stayed 6 nights in a double bedded Premier Twin Room. We had 2 adults and 2 children. Room was a nice size but the beds were pretty small to fit two adults, they were perfect for the 2 kids though & despite being worried when first seeing them we all slept well and the pillows were super comfortable. Breakfast was yummy and kids ate free so we ate a few mornings in the hotel as we didn’t actually pay for it to be included. We based ourselves in Novotel Shanghai Clover to be close access to Disneyland and we found the free shuttle buses were frequent and easy to hop on and off whenever we wanted. They ran every half an hour. We also caught a metro into the city one day and it was an easy 5 minute walk from the hotel to the station and then the metro was easy to pay for and work out as English was also on everything including ticket machines. The kids also loved the ball pool and the souvenir shop. I also got a massage as my feet were killing me after multiple days running around the park for hours. I did forget to check out the pool but it is supposed to be closed anyway this time of year.

Clean, comfortable room for Disneyland with scheduled shuttles. 5 mins walk to Kangzin Highway metro station. 2 convenient stores within hotel grounds. Self serve laundry but as a foreigner, we needed the hotel staff to help with the payment. Wifi was not great. Breakfast had a good selection of Chinese and Western. Ask well if you are a light sleeper as one side of the hotel faces the train tracks so you will constantly hear them (stops before midnight). We were ok as we were so tired from Disneyland and just passed out as soon as we hit the bed!

Everything is good. Room is spacious. Allowed us to check in at 11am. Shuttle bus is convenient. However after we booked the shuttle bus from airport to hotel, the information given by the staff couldn’t be found at the airport.

Our family theme room is spacious. Too bad they couldnt give me the donald duck room as i requested from the first. Service was fast and nice. They even gave us 2 hot lemon tea drinks in a cute tumbler. Thank you so much. We will recommend you, especially Yang Shi Hao and Tim.. great job!!

We stayed at Novotel Shanghai Clover for two nights, drawn by its proximity to Shanghai Disneyland. However, our experience started off rocky. I couldn’t reach the hotel by phone for some odd reason, and messages sent via Trip.com went unanswered. Then, at check-in, the front desk staff offered a “free upgrade” without asking, claiming it was a connected room. When we got to the room, it was the same one we’d booked—no upgrade at all. When I questioned the same staff member, he gave vague, evasive answers, leaving a terrible first impression. Despite these issues, the stay turned around. The hotel is incredibly child-friendly, and most staff were very helpful, even with some language barriers. The breakfast offered a wide variety, though it still lacked options for international travelers uncomfortable with local flavors. The room was spacious, and we loved watching the Disneyland fireworks from our window. The free shuttle bus to Disneyland was super convenient, and the mint tea in the lobby was a delightful touch. Overall, aside from the initial hiccups, we had a great stay and appreciated the family-friendly vibe.

The hotel is very near to Shanghai Disneyland and provide free shuttle bus to Disneyland as well as pudong international airport. Staff is very friendly. Not much restaurant nearby, only family mart and local convenient stall. Can order food delivery, if you don’t have the app, staff will assist order on behalf very sweet, and the food will direct to your room. Hotel very clean and cozy, have different theme as well. Very good ! Highly recommend ! And will come again next time. Well done Novotel

Novotel Shanghai Clover has not uphold its image as an international brand. The room has a very strong cigarette smell despite having a "no-smoking" sign. But what appalled me the most is that I had the "Do not disturb" sign up (the red light on the doorbell is obviously lighted up) yet housekeeping knocked on my door and ENTERED my room even when I ignored those knockings. Not too sure of her intention but I'm not sure if I will be confident to stay here again because of this. Safety and security should be given as the #1 priority but Novotel Shanghai Clover breached this trust. On a side note, they are really very convenient going to Disneyland with shuttle buses and a metro station that is about 5 minutes walking distance one statiok away. They also have scheduled shuttle buses to the airports and famous attractions like The Bund/Yu Garden. Book at your own risk I guess

Hotel is very good and very nice location. It has free shuttle to and from Pudong Airport as well as to Disneyland.

It was a clean, silent, comfortable room. Restaurant fodd was nice, free coffee machine and fee playground for kids. About 500meters or few minutes walk from metro station, which is line to Disneyland, but the hotel itself serves a free bus to Disneyland. We took the bus to Disneyland, but I thought the metro station Disneyland is nearer than then the bus stop from the main entrance to Disneyland. So you should check distances to avoid walking back to bus stop when you or your kids are tired playing all day. They also offer bus to 2 airports and the shanghai tourism center,
