Excellent value for many. Definitely my preferred hotel while in the city. I have stayed in other budget hotel before and this is definitely the best. Will return for sure !!

In short, great value for money and will stay here again as the pros are more than the cons. Pros - basics are met. Aircon is cool and silent. Hot shower has good pressure. WiFi speed is a bit slow but stable. Good quality disposable slippers provided and unlimited complimentary drinking water at every level. Hotel location is great for people who wants to get away from the tourist crowd at Nanjing Road. Less than 200M to Ma Dang Rd metro station where there are 2 major shopping malls. Around 1KM to Xin Tian Di and Tian Zi Fang. Lots of USB charging points around the bed and the room. Cons - faint smoking stench when you turn on centralised air-conditioning but goes away pretty fast. My room #421 is quite close to the neighbouring block so not much privacy if curtains are not drawn. Smallest room size appropriate for 1 person so if you have 2 guests, best to select a bigger room.

Good Location and the staff are friendly. By the way, the breakfast options could be more flexible or change on alternate days. It is kinda boring to eat about the same food everyday.

Near the central and places we want to go. Quite small, don’t have enough space to put two medium size luggage so we have to move the table away to make space. The room also have a lot of switches for the lights which caused us a lot of confusion. Toilet seat has no warmer so it’s quite inconvenient during my visit. Overall I’m satisfied.

Even though the room is tiny it is clean. Most of the staff can speak English . It is near to subway station. The breakfast is great. They kept the food warm.

The location is strategic. Within walking distance to metro and XintianDi. Many eateries and restaurants nearby

The hotel was excellent. Breakfast was not too much but everything was great. The location was close to MRT and had a lot of local food around there that you could walk to many way.

Everything is good, location near the mrt. Shopping mall also nearby. Local food can easily found next door. Definitely will come here n stay again.

Highly recommended! We had a great stay! 1) The room was small but clean and comfortable; 2) The front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Thank you so much!; 3) The location is excellent - it's really near to exit 3 of Madang Road Station (5min walk). There are restaurant and bakeries nearby; 4) The hotel is generous, they offer not only 2 free bottles of water in the room but also free pick at the lift lobby Would definitely stay again when in Shanghai!

Superb location with “superb services with a smile”.The only minor feedback is the area at the “toilet seat” is too dark with inadequate lighting. Front reception staff are all very friendly.

Really like the design of the hotel and the room. Location is great. Very close to the Madang train station and in a quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes walk to Xintiandi. Staffs are polite and supportive though they cannot really communicate in English (but using translation app can solve this). For the price, we have no complaint and would definitely stay here again next time!

Excellent location for sure. The service was sufficient and the ambience is uniquely Shanghai culture vibe. Overall, very good experience and highly recommended for first time visitors to Shanghai.

Great location near the metro and lots of restaurants, 7/11 and other facilities. I have stayed here numerous times over the past year due to location and friendly staff who remember me and provide good service.
