Holiday Inn Express Simi Valley Reviews

The breakfast was great and the waiter was very friendly. In our room, the outdoor air conditioner was dripping and making noise all the time. This needs to be improved. Relatively speaking, this hotel is a bit expensive. There is a restaurant next to the hotel.

Quite satisfied, very convenient to eat nearby

Outdated and in need of upgrades. We have started to only choose Holiday Inn Express Hotels because of the quality, but this location didn’t meet expectations. It seems like they took over a motel and didn’t bother to make the upgrades. The 1 elevator was out and we have mobility issues and had to climb stair to our room. No advance notice. The clerk said it was on their website, but since we booked through ******* it was their fault we didn’t know. The heater was so loud it kept me up all night. Bed wasn’t comfortable and it was a terrible nights sleep. Thankfully we only stayed one night and won’t return again.

Overall a good experience. Room was nice and clean. Only downside was the elevator renovation was not yet completed so up and down 3 flights of stairs was a pain.

The property is somewhat dated BUT the rooms and breakfast area are so clean! Front desk staff and the breakfast room staff were extremely polite!

Rooms have been renovated since the last time I’ve been there which was about 2 years ago excellent job love the new furniture, breakfast staff very friendly and I loved the breakfast buffet had so many options. Overall a great stay will keep coming back on future stays!

Staff was fantastic and breakfast was great. Overall, needs a major upgrade - very dated.

The room was dirty and dated, there was no thermostat in the room, and the curfew was not enforced at the pool.

The property was continuing to finish its renovation which is very well done. Outdoor pool only. Our first room was on the second floor of three. When we arrived on a Thursday night there were few guests. The staff seemed to be putting all guests in the same area of the second and third floors. Due to the noise above us we requested to be moved. In first room (226) the towel and toilet paper racks were loose on the walls as well as bathtub spout. For an extra blanket only a thin red blanket was available. In second room (336) it had none of the issues as in first. There is an elevator and luggage carts for use. Breakfast room was modern, clean, tv’s, and had a good selection of food. There are first floor rooms with handicap parking in front of them.

Notnused to doors opening to the outside elements. 1st room had urine stains. 2nd room had lady bugs...

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating! We had a room with a jetted tub which we weren’t expecting and that was so nice! Rooms are spacious. Will definitely stay here again!

People were great, breakfast service great, so so on quiet and problem free. We had the only light in the bathroom go out, they did repair it within about 45 minutes. They must have had some previous roof problems because they were working all along the side of the roof where we were staying. They must have been trying to beat the incoming rain storm which they did, no leaks. All ends well, we'll stay there again!

Wonderful experience. We were very satisfied with the cleanliness. Breakfast was very good.

The property was clean, with large rooms, but the staff...they were all amazing. Such good service.
