La Vista Resort

We arrived early and were pleasantly surprised with an early check-in. Our one bedroom unit had a fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. Recently renovated unit. Well-maintained unit and grounds. Loved our balcony that faced the Caribbean Sea. The resort has two clean and inviting pools with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Direct access to a small but lovely sandy beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. The Hideaway Restaurant is on site and open for breakfast and lunch. Food was good and prices were reasonable. The resort is located 5 minutes from a small grocery store and several good restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

I love La Vista beach resort. For me, the best of all worlds. Quiet, but close enough to walk to many restaurants and beaches. Staff is very accommodating and friendly I will return. My unit a studio on corner and perfect

Fabulous hotel on Simpson bay, on a hill but very close to all nearby has to offer. We are in a penthouse suite which is fabulous lots of room and very clean with house keeping every day. Breakfast fabulous and all staff very friendly and helpful

The rooms are keep very well. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The staff at The Hideaway are the best in the business. Sandy, Debbie, and Bernice are the very Best! If you go ask to have a BBC and Sandy made the best Bar snacks ever. Me and my wife highly recommend this resort to everyone.

Though not oceanfront, the unit had a great view. The unit had a very unique spiral staircase to take you to the living room, kitchen and balcony. We did not sleep in the master bedroom, as the view was up top. Bed was hard. New mattresses would be awesome. Helpful staff.

The resort is lovely, the staff are very accommodating. I stay there twice a year and cannot say enough about the resort. It is located on the other side of town and very quite but close to the restaurants and shops. There is a really good grocery not far from the La Vista over the bridge if you dive back towards the airport. I highly recommend this resort and I have stayed in other but this is far by the best.

This resort is absolutely beautiful and clean. The staff is amazing (a huge shout out to Debbie from the bar and Fay our housekeeper). I would go back in a heartbeat! It is walking distance from many restaurants and bars.

We had a great time at La Vista. We stayed in a studio room on an RCI exchange. The studio was unexpectedly spacious. We liked that each room had a private entrance. It also had a covered porch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The resort had a restaurant called The Hideaway. The breakfasts and lunches we had were very good. They are closed on Mondays. Happy Hour is a must! We didnt miss one. Debbie not only served us our meals but was a wonderful bartender. She definitely made our stay at La Vista special. We hope the owners know what a gem they have in her. It was easy to walk to the beach, restaurants and shops from the resort. Highly recommend the Acquamania sunset cruise. We would definitely come back to this resort!

Spent a week in St. Maarten at La Vista. The location is not far from the airport in Simpson Bay. The accommodations were very nice and the staff is super friendly. My advice is to definitely rent a car to explore all of the island. Parking was not a problem at the resort. The room was nicely appointed and clean. The pool was very nice and intimate with the restaurant available for breakfast and lunch. I will definitely return now that I know the lay of the land. Definitely a hidden gem!
