Great site, brilliant location just outside of the main area, but easily manged to get to town and the beach, the site is loud till late 12:30, and Friday nights are very busy, small kids sleeping would be an issue. Power and postion were great, i would say review your pitch and make sure you have shade!! it is very hot as there is no grass, and the ground heats up. Services are good, toilets and showers were okay, they provide toilet paper, but not in the cubicle, we took our own. they were clean, but old. Pool is great, slides were a hit with the kids and me as a big kid,,, the pool bar is the best bar on the site, great evenings had.

We stayed here with Canvas holidays (vancanceselect). There are no canvas reps on site so check in etc is with main reception. The accommodation was clean and in good condition. Our accommodation was situated next to the sports area, under some trees and with a covered decking area which was lovely to sit at. We didn't feel overlooked and it was mostly peaceful and quiet. We had 2 evenings (Fri and sat) where other guests were playing very loud music which we didn't enjoy, we asked at reception if this was allowed and we're told there was nothing they could do until the specified quiet time. The rest of the days were very peaceful though. The staff on site were all very friendly, attentive and helpful. Our son enjoyed going to the on-site shop each morning for croissants which were freshly baked. The shop was small but stocked all essentials and was reasonably priced. Our children enjoyed the football and volleyball courts. Pool was good with slides but a little chilly! My only criticism of the pool was that it was 1.4m deep which meant my 9 year old struggled to play in the water as he couldn't touch the bottom (fine for swimming though) and the shallow pool was a bit young for him. No balls were allowed in the pool so limited amount of games that my kids could play. The lifeguards were really good and were very attentive to safety. There weren't loads of sunbeds but the pool is surrounded by artificial grass so if there wasn't a sunbed it was fine to put a towel down on the grass. Bike hire on site costs about €12 per day and a €50 deposit per bike is required, the bikes were well used and limited numbers available so go early morning if you are wanting to hire! Walk from site to beach was about 10 minutes and passed Jardine de Terramar which had a little children's playpark and football goals. Walk to sitges took 30-40 minutes but along a flat promenade with beautiful views across the beach to sitges. Sitges itself is a pretty Mediterranean town, not a tacky brit destination at all! There are lots of restaurants shops and bars to suit all tastes. There is a tourist train along the promenade which was €2.50 per person 1 way, however, we found that it didn't stick to the timetable and we only managed to catch it x1 across our week holiday! Bus stop for Plana bus is just outside site and comes at 10 minutes to each hour, €2.40 each way. The bus goes through Sitges and on to Barcelona. We took the bus into Sitges and then got the train to Barcelona. Trains to Barcelona from Sitges were roughly every 15 minutes and easy to use, we got the train to Passeig de Gracia Station which is near to Casa Batllo and Casa Mila and about a 20min walk to Sagrada Familia. We used the metro to get to Camp Nou and did a stadium tour. The stadium tour was very busy but the children enjoyed it and the metro felt safe and easy to use. We also got the train from Sitges to Vilanova, the beaches are much wider in Vilanova and there were football goals and volleyball net

We stayed in a ‘Safari Lodge’ November 2023, and enjoyed our stay. Only downsides of the site itself is it can be a bit noisy from planes/trains passing throughout the night. As well as this, there was several bright lights which shine into the tents, making it quite light inside. The bathrooms showers were exceptionally clean however. I wouldn’t recommend staying here outside of the peak summer season, as when we arrived at 4pm on a Tuesday we found everything on the site was shut, (including the restaurant shop). The pools were advertised as shut, but we weren’t made aware of this before we arrived, however they did open up on some other days for very limited hours. The site is advertised as a 15 minute walk from the beach, however this is more like a 45 minute walk which leads to a small pebble beach, not the main Sitges beach as you’d expect. Another thing to bear in mind is that it’s a good location for Sitges, but if you plan on travelling to Barcelona via public transport, your only option is a bus which costs €4.50 each way and runs 1-2 times an hour. Walking from the accommodation into Sitges is impossible unless you walk down the main road it’s situated off of. All together, the site was extremely clean, had helpful and friendly security staff, and was great value for the price we payed. Just a shame about the public transport, the bright lights, and access to/from the site. A bonus is there is a large population of cats who are very friendly :)

We stayed in a ‘Safari Lodge’ November 2023, and enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfy and clean and the ‘lodge’ (more tent with a double bed in it) felt very new. It also comes with a heater which is great for the cold nights. However the room was extremely dark at night, as it only has 2 small lamps and 1 exterior, making it hard to see during night time. The Only downsides of the site itself is it can be a bit noisy from planes/trains passing throughout the night. As well as this, there was several bright lights which shine into the tents, making it quite light inside. The bathrooms + showers were exceptionally clean however. I wouldn’t recommend staying here outside of the peak summer season, as when we arrived at 4pm on a Tuesday we found everything on the site was shut, (including the restaurant + shop). The site is advertised as a 15 minute walk from the beach, however this is more like a 45 minute walk which leads to a small pebble beach, not the main Sitges beach as you’d expect. I don’t recommend this walk in the night as it is completely pitch black and passes through fields + underpasses. Another thing to bear in mind is that it’s a good location for Sitges, but if you plan on travelling to Barcelona via public transport, your only option is a bus which costs €4.50 each way and runs 1-2 times an hour. Walking from the accommodation into Sitges or anywhere else is impossible, as it’s located off of one of the highways which doesn’t have any pavements. All together though, the site was extremely clean, had helpful and friendly security + staff, and was great value for the price we payed. Just a shame about the public transport, the bright lights, and access to/from the site. A bonus is there is a large population of cats who are very friendly :)

My experience at Camping Garrofer has been rather unfortunate. Unreasonable fees have been charged for camping pitches, which are actually parking spaces or tiny shared spaces, disproportionately affecting foreigners and transient travellers who may not have the time, energy or resources to seek alternatives. Knowing that they are unlikely to return to El Garrofer, the campsite doesn't care. The management has also violated the maximum occupancy limits for both the campsite and the swimming pool, raising concerns about safety and hygiene. Bathrooms are often dirty and shower heads are sometimes missing. Occasionally the water runs cold, but when someone flushes the toilet, scalding hot water comes out. The campsite is constantly noisy due to activities at the pool. This summer there was a particular (kind of) counsellor who used a toy-like loudspeaker microphone and wouldn't let anyone rest. They have also invited some travel bloggers and influencers to visit the facilities and stay for a few days in nice bungalows to generate positive reviews to counteract the negative opinions on the internet. In addition to these issues, the campsite has taken actions that have had a negative impact on the families that used to camp here the whole season. Evicting people without notice and demanding payment in advance without a contract is not a fair way to treat guests. Overall, my impression is that Camping Garrofer does not prioritise the well-being of its guests, but rather seems to focus on profit. The lack of transparency and unequal trea**ent of campers is also worrying. If you have alternatives, I would strongly recommend exploring them instead of staying at this camping site in Sitges.

We visited the site at the beginning of October for a long weekend (3 nights). The site is charming, and the lodges have everything you would need. There are pots, pans, plates, and cutlery. You are also given a small parcel containing washing up liquid, a dish sponge, and extra bin liner. Our lodge was 2 rooms, and a living space separated by sliding doors. The 'master' and the other room had a bunk bed as well as a separate single, so perfect for us and 3 children. The lodge was spotless, and sheets were clean. Towels are provided, but you need to bring your own beach towels. Although a bit chilly, the pool area was definitely the highlight for the kids. It was still open, and I think it stays open until the end of October. There is also a BBQ area, which we used, and a playground for the kids, including a football pitch! We ate at the onsite restaurant on the first night, and the food was lovely. I would definitely recommend the site and visiting Stiges.

We stayed at Camping Garrofer for five days towards the end of October we were planning on using it as a base for travelling into Barcelona. However I hadn’t realised how lovely the site was and we ended up spending three whole days on site enjoying the facilities. We hired bikes one day which was really cheap and rode down into Sitges which is a lovely town. They also have tennis courts and basketball courts and an outdoor gym. I was worried the pool wouldn’t be open as it was October but it was and we used it a few times even if it was a little chilly. Our chalet was lovely and the site was so peaceful. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent campsite near Sitges with a good bus service right outside to Barcelona and the airport. Lovely swimming pool area and bar and the restaurant is quite good too. Sitges is a lovely little beach town with great cafes and shops.

Visited here end of August to 8 September. Campsite was very busy when we arrived but become a lot more chilled from 1 September. Stayed in Eurocamp home which was fine and not too far from swimming pool . The swimming pool was lovely and site was clean. The pool bar not too expensive Staff at campsite were all friendly and helpful Easy to catch bus into Sitges and Barcelona from outside campsite. Although there is a restaurant in the campsite we preferred the Ohana restaurant just a shirt walk in the next campsite. Surrounding area is quiet and walk to beach took about 15 mins in the heat. Beaches are great and as mentioned before you can either walk it catch the tourist train into Sitges.
