Green Riverside Cosy Home

Easy to find. It’s located beside a river. But far from center. So difficult to find a restaurant or small store. You must walk about 1.5-2km if you want to buy something. Quiet. But a little smelly and old. Food is very expensive. Too much mosquitoes, especially in night time.

Beautiful hostel, beautiful area, owner Linh is an absolute hero who will go above and beyond for you. This woman is a machine she is on the go 24/7 catering for all her guests needs!! Family dinner is a beautiful meal also and a beautiful experience to meet new people. Highly recommend the abandoned valley tour which Linh will tell you about

I had an amazing stay here! Ling was so accommodating and knowledgeable of what to do while in Pong Nha. She even picked us up when we got dropped off by the bus and drove us to the bus station at 4am! Very spacious rooms and clean as well. The breakfast was wonderful and peaceful sitting by the river with your morning coffee. The stay is a little outside the main area, but it’s a lovely walk in the evening down to the main restaurants/bar. Overall wonderful stay and would highly recommend!

Extremely luxurious room for the price, and all the better due to the host Linh, who helped us with all our questions and needs. We showed up early, after taking an overnight train and we’re greeted with a home cooked breakfast, and a suggestion to go on a day trip to the Roc Mon Cave. We spontaneously agreed, and it was so fun! So, definitely take her up on any activities she suggests, she won’t lead you astray.

What an amazing stay. Linh was the best host, lovely, attentive and very accommodating. She was always easy to contact if you needed anything and helped us organise everything for our short stay, from the coolest cave tour to the sleeper bus for our next journey. She also offers family dinners which we highly recommend as you can get delicious Vietnamese food easily. Linh made sure that we were well looked after, and made it a smooth and fun stay in Phong Nha. Her homestay was very relaxed and had a lovely family a**osphere. It was a great place where you can chill out, so if you’re looking for that kind of stay, this one is for you. Our room was beautiful to stay in and the homestay is close to the river so you can get some amazing views just a short walk away. Overall, this place has everything you need, and we would highly recommend! Would definitely stay again.

If you are searching for a cute hostel, a very nice host and a helping hand - green riverside cosy home is definitely a way to go. beautiful rooms, nice breakfast and overall great services (concerning tour bookings, rentals, information, etc.) We even stayed a night longer.

This is one of the cleanest laundry mats that I have ever been to. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We found out we weren't filling the washers with enough closes and this was why they weren't totally ringing out. You must purchase a card to put money on but, it is well worth it.

The beds are in buildings with large en-suite. Beds have curtains. Rooms have large lockers, kettle, fridge, bedside table and tables and chairs. Outside there is a lovely courtyard with birds. Free breakfast daily which you can eat on the tables and chairs in front of the river. Ling is so pleasant and will help you with everything, even helping you once you have left.
