Finca Fuente Techada is one of the 'insider tips' in the centre of Spain: Only a hundred kilometres north of Madrid, in rural remoteness at the foot of the Sierra de Guadarrama, which cools wonderfully on summer nights, with a view of the Romanesque church tower of the small village of Sotosalbos, about two kilometres away. Behind the gate at the end of the earthy driveway passing freely grazing cows lies a haven of relaxed generosity, good taste and attentive hospitality, just like at a friends' house. The cordial hosts Cristina and Alejandro 'are there' and at the same time 'not there'. Not more than a handful of spacious rooms with exquisitely laundered beds. We stayed for about eleven days and would have liked to stay longer. Sun, shade, swimming pool, walks, plenty of impressive scenery, culture and gastronomy within a radius of no more than 2 to 40 kilometres - and if needed, a bit of 'finca office' in one of the lounges of the spacious house. Mi marido y yo un fin de semana realmente mágico. La casa es ESPECTACULAR. Alejandro y Cristina son unos anfitriones increíbles. Las camas, las almohadas, la chimenea, la vista a la sierra, los alrededores, el desayuno… todo nos encantó y volveremos tan pronto sea posible. Ubicación excelente para visitar Segovia, La Granja, Pedraza, las Hoces del Duraton… Alejandro nos recomendó restaurantes y lugares para visitar. Es sin duda un lugar donde solo se viven buenas experiencias. El desayuno es una experiencia de verdad maravillosa. La comida riquísima y la mesa la sirven con un gusto exquisito. Cuidan cada detalle!

Maravilloso. Todo un descubrimiento. Una casa muy acogedora, decorada con un gusto exquisito y mucho mimo. Perfecto para pasar unos días de relax y respirar aire puro. La habitaciones son amplias. Tiene un porche precioso y una piscina de agua salada. El pueblo está muy cerquita y se puede llegar dando un paseo. Los propietarios son muy atentos y amables. Sin duda, repetiremos.

Lugar ideal para relajarte y sentirte como en casa. Hotel confortable y espacioso. Habitaciones amplias, salones e invernadero decorados con gusto y el trato de Cristina y Alejandro, impecable, super acogedores. Los desayunos son abundantes y muy healthy. Fui con mi marido y repetiremos.

Hemos pasado un fin de semana en la casa de Alejandro y Cristina y la verdad es que no se puede pedir más. La casa es simplemente espectacular, a la vez que cómoda y acogedora, todo muy cuidado y con mucha historia. Ellos son lo más, e intentan que tu estancia sea lo más gratificante posible, dandote mucha infrmación sobre la zona para que puedas comer, pasear y disfrutar de tu tiempo al máximo. A nosotros en particular que habiamos ido sin coche nos hicieron varios favores... El desayuno es riquisimo, muy variado, con huevos de sus gallinas, y las personas que te atienden son un encanto. Una maravilla, con muchisimas ganas de volver...
