Stayed here for 2 weeks with my husband and teenage son. We chose the Kanta as the description mentioned pool tables, gym, tennis courts, pub on site and library room. Plus other lounges ( Moroccan lounge and piano bar). The staff were lovely and the food was fine but everything else was awful. Most of the gym equipment was damaged so it wasn't usable, the indoor swimming pool was in a room in which the temperature was so hot you got burned feet. The Moroccan lounge was closed, the upstairs restaurant was completely empty of furniture and wasn't used. There is no Pucca pub at all. It's been turned into a club which was also closed. Most of the tennis courts have been partially dug up and the remaining ones have no nets. The mini golf is on the front roundabout so dangerous for children. No pool tables at all, both were in pieces and were removed but not replaced. The beach bar was still being built so we had to walk through the building site to get to the beach. We complained to Love Holidays and got nothing back so I took loads of pictures and spoke to The hotel manager. He offered us 2 days free stay for the next time we came! I have since pursued this and got a partial refund from Love Holidays. This took 3 months. This was the worst holiday my family have ever had. Should have come home after the second day in hindsight. The other quests at the Hotel were not from the UK and we got hassled and stared at for most of the time. The hotel description does not correspond to the actual facilities.

Where to start been reading comments here and they must not be real. My experience at this hotel "hotel kanta" was an amazing one from start to end did not want to go home. 24 Sept to 8th October [ROOMS] First the rooms' (503) are room was big and plenty of space for clothes hanging space draws free safe plenty of mirrors sony tv with an English movie channel with decent movies too bonus. From reading comments before we went I was surprised people moaning about the it the views where amazing over looking the pool and sea in the distance. Coming from Liverpool to see this view every morning was overwhelming. Aircon on point too. Bath room was good too shower bath combo separate toilet too. Unlimited hot water jesus been plenty of hotels when some times the water is luke warm nope not here always hot extremely hot. Both me and the wifey had no complaints about room. Cleaned every day sheets ect. (FOOD) Again reading comments on here not justified myself being a chef of 20+ years had no complaints what so ever your in a different country food will be of a different variety expand your taste buds. Plenty of meat from chicken to lamb and beef fresh seafood too by the texture literally caught that day too 😋 plenty of fruit' salad' rice and pasta I could go on literally had no complaints. Food area spotless temps on point from hot held too dessert counter was always looking to find something as being a chef as you do but no complaints from me. There will something even for the pickiest of people. I actually came home with a good few extra pounds but that's me loved the food. (SERVICE) We were all-inclusive as soon as we choosed are table the staff were on point after the second day they knew what drinks we would have' had are drinks on the table before we came back with are food. (Amazing) set are tables up with pettles and Rose's in a little vase, pics will be on too (OUT SIDE POOL AREA) The swimming pool was kept clean 👌🏽 we went towards the end of the season we would come down pick are lounges and the guy would bring us the padded thing and towels and Ash tray too always on point plenty of choices of pools plus slides and that other on the other side. Plus around the pool you can see the gardens with ample seating and hammocks well maintained plenty of choices. (ENTERTAINMENT) The guys who done the entertainment through out the day and night. Approached you introduced them selves lovely polite individuals and tried to get you involved in many activities being me I was happy with a beer chilling and embracing the scenery and the wifey with a cocktail (BEACH) The beach was about 10 mins walk when you leave the hotel premises around the corner than down a private path straight on to the beach some parts did have a bit of ciggy butt's ect but I emphasis on that the people who littering where disrespectful tourists who had no respect. But saying that wasn't a major issue the sea was crystal clear the activities were amazing pics included.

When we arrived no information given by reception at all and no bottled water in the room. No food available after 9pm and we arrived at 9.30pm. The food was very nice indeed, however the restaurant manager lied when we asked for bottles of fizzy drink or wine. When challenged he claimed other guests paid for the bottles However we later found out it was part of the all inclusive package which we had. He seemed to target European guests for tips even when served by another waiters. This made us feel uncomfortable at times. Bob the entertainer was very helpful and gave us all the information we would expect to get from hotel reception. Hotel room on the 5th floor was nice with a beautiful sea view, the room was cleaned every day with towels and sheets changed. Housekeeping were very friendly, the only issues were no do not disturb sign to place on the door and the fridge didn't keep anything cold. Our electric did go off but was sorted within 10 minutes when reported The beach was dirty, plastic bottles, cigarette butts, etc, nothing was cleaned for hotel Kanta guests. Other hotels kept their beach area's clean and tidy for their guests. No food or drinks provided at the beach / snack bar. You could get drinks from the bar at the hotel but would then have to walk for 10 minutes to the Hotel Kanta beach area, which meant they were warm when you arrived. Water sport activities were available at the beach. We visited the hotel 9 years ago and it was an excellent experience, however after this visit we would not pick this hotel again. Overall the hotel ambience was good, it very relaxing.

I must agree with Wayne.sthe food was always cold the room we had on the first night was unbelievable absolutely filthy black mould in the shower all up the curtain someone had wiped there hands on the curtains after eating in the room got up next morning there was Ants everywhere coming out of the wardrobe they were even in the bed we asked to move rooms which. They did it was a lot cleaner and quieter because of the night club by the pool going on till 4 am so as far as 3/4 star I agree with Wayne it's a one ⭐

When we arrived at this hotel, my first impressions was it doesn't look like a 4 star hotel. We checked in, The staff were very nice and before check in was complete we were taken to the restaurant to get some food before it closed. The food didn't look too appetising but we gout something and sat at a table, When I tasted the food, it was really cold(it was supposed to be hot food), I thought perhaps because it was ready for closing so I didn't think too much about it. As we found our feet we found the bar, nice cold beer served in pint glasses but no diet mixers were available, very soon into the holiday they ran out of coke. There was a pool bar but that didn't serve beer, So you had to walk into the main hotel bar everytime you fancied a beer. We found a snack bar but when I ordered some food it never came, they were too focused on serving people who were paying as they had gone lower board, I had to explain, we weren't getting it free as we were all inclusive, we had paid in advance. There was no fridge or kettle in the room which all previous hotels have had so we couldn't make any hot drinks in our room. There is a private beach with a beach bar, The bar has no drinks whatsoever so I couldn't see the purpose of it. As the holiday went on, we realised, the food is always cold and nothing is labelled so it's hard to know what your eating, I lived mainly on lumpy mashed potato, It was like eating in a pig sty, The waiters bent over backwards to try to help but they can only work with with what they have, they can't change the food. Halfway through the holiday, I became very ill and didn't eat for the rest of the holiday, On my return home I sought medical advise, I was given medication as I had food poisoning, I also had to stay off work for a week due to the illness. The pictures on the hotel website look nothing like the real thing in regards to the restaurants and play areas. There was a nightclub on the edge of the site, pumping music out until 3am, it was hard to sleep. The room were pretty clean but a bit tatty. The day before we were due to come home, they opened an additional restaurant for all inclusive guests which was far better quality but too little too late, my family ate there on the last day, I couldn't eat, The hotel must have realised they had a problem or they wouldn't have opened it. I my view this hotel should be a 2 star but I will never return.

Just back from a relaxing 2 week holiday at the Hotel Kanta. Me (Mick) and Caroline arrived on Sept 4th on an all inclusive deal. Local beers and spirits available and we were not disappointed. Glass mugs for the beer that was chilled and surprisingly nice. Certain Cocktails such as Pina Colada and Vodka Sunrise made from scratch. All the staff were attentive and very friendly and made us feel very welcome. From bringing drinks to the table and helping you if in need of anything. Initially the restaurant was difficult to navigate due to the number of people but this was rectified on our last week when all inclusive guests (not many of us) were allowed access to a separate dining area so became easy to self serve without queues. Swimming pool was nice with plenty of beds and a separate pool with slides for the kids and adults alike lol. Air conditioning could have been better inside the hotel (OK in rooms) and the lifts unfortunately red hot. Room was very big (5th floor) and an amazing view (Pool and sea view) Pool Bar staff worked very hard fetching our drinks and the snack bar did fresh baguettes and pizzas made from scratch to your choice. Animation team very friendly with a special mention to Bob for listening to any gripes we had and acting upon them. He certainly wanted us to have the best experience and was responsible for the opening of the other restaurant for the all inclusive guests. Inside bar with Kamel looking after all the guests very well. Met some amazing people and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves after arriving with trepidation. Our only complaint was the weather lol.....very hot (mid 30's) but it was the evening that was uncomfortable with it being around 28c - 30c so take plenty of clothes ha ha. All in all a good holiday and would recommend.....Oh! the beach is lovely.
