This is my second review in the past year. This hidden gem has to be the best hotel This side of Dublin! The reception staff led by Julian are exceptional. Nothing is to much trouble to them. Sue and Michael run the restaurant ably assisted by Lucy, Susan, Eoin, Dragos, Leona and Leila. A better reception team I'm yet to meet. The food is outstanding and the specials are even better!! The hotel is so good my friends also stay here during the working week. Dead easy to get into dublin from here as the Luas is a 2 minute walk. Rooms are excellent, very clean, tidy and warm. A home from home for us who are frequent travellers. Keep up the good work guys!!

As a seasoned traveller and a regular guest at The Address Hotel City West, I've had the pleasure of experiencing firsthand the consistent excellence this hotel offers. Over my numerous stays, I've come to regard it not merely as a place to lay my head but as a second home, where every visit is as welcoming as the last. The staff here are nothing short of phenomenal. Their attention to detail, friendliness, and professionalism are what set this hotel apart. It's their personal touches and genuine smiles that make every stay special. They remember your preferences, greet you by name, and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is flawless. Cleanliness and comfort are hallmarks of The Address Hotel City West. Each room I've stayed in has been impeccably clean, boasting an inviting atmosphere that speaks volumes of the housekeeping team's dedication. The beds are a highlight – so comfortable that they make mornings a bit of a challenge. Yet, it's a challenge I gladly except for the promise of such restful sleep. For someone who values convenience, the hotel's location is unbeatable. Its proximity to public transport and ease of access to parking make it a perfect base for both commuting and exploring the city. This logistical convenience, combined with the hotel's tranquil ambiance, with a peaceful retreat waiting for you upon your return. Dining at the hotel is always an anticipated event. The restaurant and bar never cease to amaze me with their culinary creations and fantastic service. Each meal is a celebration of Flavors, and the staff's recommendations are always spot-on. The breakfast spread deserves a special mention – it's a diverse, delicious start to the day that I look forward to every morning. In sum, The Address Hotel City West isn't just a place I stay at; it's a significant part of my travel experience. Its blend of impeccable service, comfort, and convenience is why I keep coming back. Whether you're a first-time visitor or, like me, a regular, this hotel promises and delivers a memorable stay each and every time. Here's to many more visits!

The wife and I stayed here from March 16-18 and enjoyed what the hotel had to offer. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, and the room temperature was spot on. The Breakfast that was included in the price was more than satisfying. Plenty of choice and no way was it possible to walk away hungry. Also the kitchen staff and waitresses were fantastic. We had some meals and drinks in the Alehouse there. The food was good but the service was outstanding. The crew working there Luke, Sue, Oscar and Eoin were fantastic we had many a good yarn with Luke. I certainly recommend staying there.

Where do I start? A prison you can actually leave. Well first off the reviews I read before staying here, I just can't understand where they came from. The Good : Nicoli (Nicola) at the front desk was the happiest, most informative person I have ever met. He would be better off at another establishment that offers a great service as he is wasted here. A lovely brownie was waiting for us on the coffee table for our anniversary. The Bad : After a lovely check in we went to room 46 on the ground floor. When we walked in we were taken back by the size of the double bed, it was so small. (See photos). But it was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in my life, rock hard. Sleeping on the floor would have been softer. Pillows were great! But we woke up with aches and pains in our shoulders, it was a rough nights sleep. Had soap irritated my hands and that hasn't happened before. The Ugly : At the end of our room was a big window that had a view I wasn't expecting, tall grey brick walls. We were on the ground floor of the two story building. Please see photo. How on earth can you put someone in a room like that? I would guess it was something like you would see in a prison. Also why a sofa and coffee table. It's just easier to eat breakfast off a real table and chair. When were leaving the following day, other rooms were being cleaned and we could see their huge windows looking out into the real world. Steak house : Our package included a cocktail. What they don't tell you is the cocktail is from their signature ones, only 3 to choose from. (Normally 13.50 each) I choose the 4* Star Sour without egg whites. I tasted like turkish delight mixed with dish soap, the worst cocktail ever in my life. Do they not taste test these drinks? I told the gentleman there and they made me a margarita. (Normally 13 euro) and was delightful. We drank some gin and tonic and vodka and sprite and felt there wasn't much alcohol in them. The soup was good, the veggie curry was okay with hard undercooked rice and I just couldn't bring myself to complain again Hubby's burger was juicy and he loved it but the wings were tasteless. Then it all closes at 10pm so you can't stay and have a few more drinks on a Friday night??? While walking out we noticed they were setting up for breakfast. I saw the cereal in containers with no lids on them, all exposed. I'm sure that's a health and safety issue right there. Anyway we headed to the lobby and got a drink. We wanted to finish the night off with a sambuca in remembrance of a dear friends anniversary but they didn't have any. Hotel : The Lobby is lovely but they have scent spayed everywhere which is a little too much but the lobby was very clean and welcoming. The scent was also sprayed in the room. Probably there to mask cooking in rooms, as we could smell spices being cooked, but not too sure. Tips : You have to ask at reception for a breakfast card so you can have it in your room. It w

The girl behind reception was absolutely marvellous. My phone was out of charge and I was about to go down for breakfast. Not alone did I get my phone charged but my taxi was there waiting for me after my satisfying breakfast so that I would not be late for my important meeting in Citywest. Shubaj came to my rescue and saved the day on all fronts. Thank you for going the extra mile to ensure your guest was sorted. Many thanks Shubaj.

No air conditioning, no ceiling fan, no window to open apart from a few centimetres gap at the top of a very narrow window. This is a very unpleasant place to stay in slightly warm weather, it’s being pouring down all day yet the rooms are ridiculously hot. They offer a small table fan, but no where suitable. It’s simple unless you like an incredibly hot room with no ventilation stay well clear.

Overall a decent stay, but the mattress was way too soft and might be in need of replacement (a lot of roll).
