The hotel is very famous in Sri Lanka, and the room facilities are very good. The environment is a bit poor, because when driving to the hotel by yourself, Google Maps navigates to the hotel through a long and narrow dirt road, not the asphalt Jetwing Road. If the hotel corrects the information to Google Maps, it may be helpful for self-driving guests.

We had an amazing experience staying at Hibiscus Villa. The location was perfect—peaceful yet conveniently close to everything we needed. The villa itself was spotless, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything to make our stay comfortable and easy. What truly made the experience exceptional was the owner. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. From offering great local suggestions to organizing transport for us whenever required, his support made our trip even more enjoyable and stress-free. Highly recommend Hibiscus Villa for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-hosted stay!

The hotel is nice, spacious beautiful room at check in we were treated to a refreshing juice. There is a big pool on the grounds and a big jacuzzi with hot water in the room.  Minuses of the hotel: Far from the attractions. Taxi from the center only go there for the price of pick me x2. Hotel taxi are 3 times more expensive. There are no stores and restaurants near the hotel, so inside the hotel prices for food x3, Also after 6pm it is dangerous to be outside because elephants are walking around. Now let's talk about the premium status and the five races. In 7 years of traveling, this is the first hotel that did not have a bathrobe, slippers and toothbrush and toothpaste in the room. The plumbing in the shower leaks, and the doors creak so much that you could call the spirits at night. Regarding the attention to the customer. I mentioned my upcoming birthday in conversation with the manager, but this fact was not used in any way to show any form of attention from the hotel. This is a huge miscalculation on the part of the staff at a premium hotel. We also had a late departure and our request to delay in the hotel for a couple of hours was refused. This was not due to the arrival of new customers, as the manager offered to extend our stay for a fee. For future customers this fact may be decisive in their choice. In general, the hotel is not bad, but the service and flexibility of the staff, as well as individual approach to customers, does not correspond to the premium level and requires improvement.

The villa in Sinhajiri, located in the western province of Sigiriya (English name: Green Hut Nature Resort), is accurately said to be a Sri Lankan house, the location is a bit biased, completely rural feeling. The owner and workers of the homestay are very friendly. The room is quite large, but the facilities are relatively simple, there is a general cooling effect of air conditioning, the room and supplies feel basically clean and hygienic, the bed is large and comfortable, bath towels are provided, no quilt or quilt is a thin sheet (This is the least used thing in Sri Lanka), also do not provide toothbrush, toothpaste, comb slippers and other supplies. Breakfast is custom-made, belonging to the British bar, there are omelets, bread, fruit, milk tea, etc. Due to the remote location, I ordered dinner at the hotel on the night of the stay. Fried rice and fried noodles (Sri Lankan noodles seem to be rice noodles) tasted good. The walls of the dining room are decorated with various texts, including Chinese. Overall, the location of this homestay is a bit biased, no car is not convenient to travel, other than the service, environment, etc. are actually good, very close to nature.

Kalundewa Retreat has an amazing concept and a beautiful, secluded location that really stands out. The surroundings are peaceful and unique, making it a lovely place to disconnect. That said, there are visible signs of wear and tear in certain areas, and some aspects of property maintenance could be improved. However, what truly made up for this was the hotel team — their service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was excellent and clearly prepared with care, which added greatly to the overall experience. With better upkeep, this place has the potential to be exceptional.

Отель один из лучших в этих краях) Симпатичная территория с бассейном, вкусная еда очень. Единственное, не понравилось, что в цены в меню не включены налоги, было неприятно получить счет на 30% дороже. Но в целом все понравилось, неплохие завтраки, чистненько и приятно.

Thank you for a great stay. The staff were amazing and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast and conversation learning about the area from the staff. The location is excellent as it's close to attractions and food. We definitely recommend it.

This hotel has good facilities, like good pool bar, restaurant with a tropical resort feeling. We have room with 2 king beds and it is good enough width for 2 adults and 2 kids. and also keeping sanitary. Staff gave the good hospitality and providing good services in restaurant. Just one concerning is VISA card cannot work well in Dambulla area.
