"One of the best hotels I lived in Sri Lanka, running by a local family. They are very nice and hospitable and even provided very delicious local breakfast with wild honey and welcome coconut water. The room was a quite big with high ceiling, clean and all the stuffs were available. The hotel is in the closest location to climb the rock mountain called Pidurangala to view panorama view of Sigiri and sunrise and sunset and very close to Sigiri Lion Rock as well. The hotel can provide car and jeep services. Jeep safari to see a herd and other wild animals were quite an experience to feel the wilderness and nature. This hotel is 100% recommended when you are in Sigiriya. If you need a car service for city to city travel, here is the service provider, called Danu and his contact number is (0774) 642 805. He is a nice and humble guy with certified local guide. We got his service from Sigiriya to Kandy to Yalla to Colombo, the trip went very smooth and we are happy that we covered all the attractions places with his assistance. Highly recommended!!"

"An enjoyable two nights spent here. Very pleasant landscaping- trees and foliage. The rooms were roomy, comfortable with mosquito nets, tea and coffee facilities, wi fi access. Sanjeevani and her team made us the most delicious breakfasts- a wide assortment of Lankan food (stringhoppers, roti, godamba, pancake, toast, curries and sambols, fruit salad). Afternoons were spent relaxing by the pool (after climbing Dambulla and Sigiriya ) it was nice to return to a cool and quiet place. Will we return again? Absolutely. Any suggestions? Please no air fresheners in the rooms."

"This is not a resort, when I arrived young girl practically ignored me, then pointed to a book to fill out and just walked away without telling me room number, facilities or any info. Room very good size and great working aircon, in bathroom no hot water or couldn’t figure out how to use the thing, either way had to take a cold shower. Next day when leaving was told about the lookout to rock fortress at back of property, very nice views, something that you would think the girl would be selling on arrival as a plus to staying in venue!"

Flower Garden Eco Village

"Firstly, as a solo traveller the prices are quite steep per room per night!! But hence everything else is far after visiting the Lion try I gave it a try. The place is beutiful but seemed the cleaning staff doesn’t refill bathroom soaps, towels and tissue quite often. Everyone including myself kept on asking the receptionist guy for stuff. My plug sockets didn’t work, I slept thinking my power bank and phone would be fully charged by the morning. The people are polite. Lots of noise at night and turns out it’s elephant 🐘 noise and dogs barking. So I missed a 2 good hours of sleep. They do try to fix the problems when you tell them about them."
