Hotel Sigiriyaaya - Jetwing Select ★★★
"A wonderful hotel in a quiet location among rice fields. Peacocks and the sounds of the jungle. If you love nature and solitude, this is perfect! Just remember that there's no "civilization" right next door. The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. The reception is very warm. The breakfast and dinner were delicious! Thanks to all the hotel staff. Most importantly for those traveling by car, the road Google defaults to on the lake side is bad, full of potholes; we barely made it. The road on the other side, while rough, is much better. I've attached a map in the photo."
Heritance Kandalama ★★★★★
"On the top of the forest!"
The Paradise Dambulla ★★★★★
"This hotel is just beautiful. Paradise in the trees. A great clean pool. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help. Food changed daily and plenty to pick from. Rooms clean, comfy and air conditioning brilliant. Will miss it. Absolutely would love to return and recommend 100%."
Sigiriya Village ★★★★★
"It has a colonial feel and is a bit dated. But the location is fantastic, practically in the middle of a forest. There are many monkeys and other animals roaming around. Rooms are large. Food quality is on par for Sri Lanka. The staff are excellent, knowledgeable of attractions and helpfull arranging tours and taxis."
EKHO Sigiriya - 700 meters to Sigiriya Rock ★★★★
"Facilities: The facilities are a bit old, and the room was a little damp, but overall it was okay. Cleanliness: The room was fairly clean, but the floor drain had a slight odor. Environment: Located at the foot of Lion Rock, the location is excellent, with several good restaurants nearby, but it's a bit noisy along the street. Other: Dinner was at the restaurant next door. The hotel breakfast was average, with limited choices."
Amron Resort Sigiriya ★★★
"A month at this hotel was a true fairy tale for us! We felt right at home thanks to the incredibly friendly and kind family who took care of us from the very first moment. They were also ready to help with literally everything! When we mentioned that we wanted to cook for ourselves and were looking for accommodation with a kitchen, they simply... built us a kitchen! It was incredible! We couldn't imagine that people could be so responsive. We were often treated to incredibly delicious, generous meals. Breakfasts are a special treat here: always plenty of food, fresh ingredients, and everything is incredibly delicious. You can also rent their bicycles to explore the amazing Sigiriya. It was amazing! Riding along picturesque trails amidst the wild nature was a dream! Even within the hotel grounds, you can feel a connection with nature: colorful birds sing their melodies, squirrels dart through the palm trees, and monitor lizards leisurely wander through the bushes – true harmony with nature. We left with a heavy heart, as this place became our home for a whole month. We recommend it to anyone seeking warm hospitality, comfort, and a connection with nature. Don't hesitate – this hotel is definitely worth your consideration!"
Hotel Sigiriya ★★★★
"Good hotel with excellent service! We stayed for a couple of days. The view from the pool is amazing! 🔥"
Sigiriya Forest Edge By Marino Leisure ★★★★★
"Facilities: New Service: Very friendly Meals: Delicious"
Eden Grand ★★★
"It's a little far from the city center, about 100 meters from the main road. I was using Google Maps to get there, but I took a wrong turn and had to ask a local for directions. Looking again, there's a hotel sign on a utility pole at the corner, so please refer to that. In terms of facilities, it's equipped with a kettle, refrigerator, hairdryer, and air conditioner, and the TV has good picture quality. Coffee, tea, and two bottles of water are also provided, making it well worth the price. (It's probably a new building, so there are few gaps, and hardly any flies or ants got in.) As for the food, breakfast is a mix of Sri Lankan and English style, with good taste and quantity. Combined with the facilities, it offers better value than other hotels in the same price range, so I recommend it. The owner's family was also very kind. ka"

"The hotel facilities are basic, there's no breakfast, and there are no restaurants nearby. Although it's located by a main road, it might be inconvenient without a car."

"praveen & Jasintha ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at this hotel with our group of 56 people. The overall experience was excellent, and everyone in our group really enjoyed their stay. Special thanks to [Staff Name] for taking such good care of our group and making sure everything was properly managed. Sigiriana Resort by Thilanka
"An incredibly peaceful retreat surrounded by nature perfect if you're looking to unwind and relax. The pool area was a highlight, with sweeping mountain views overlooking the open, golden-brown paddy fields. Everything from the rooms to the general amenities was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Highly recommended for a quiet getaway."
Yashi's Place Sigiriya
"Noce homestay and lovely people"
Liyya Water Villas
"First, this hotel is in a very remote location, with nothing nearby, making it difficult to get around. Secondly, the hotel's design clearly shows a lot of effort, but it's not well maintained. We were moved four rooms in one day. Within 10 minutes of checking in, they told us there was a plumbing problem. After a long wait, they moved us to a different room type. After checking in, we still had no water. In the third room, large bugs kept dropping onto the bed and onto our bodies throughout the night, which was terrifying. We finally got our final room cleaned and changed after 10 PM. We finally got some sleep, but the next morning, the stationary hair dryer was broken again! We had our laundry done, and they told us we didn't need to iron it, only wash it. But when we checked out, they still charged us for the ironing! Luckily, my husband had texted them about our request via What's Up, and they were able to get rid of the extra charge. This completely delayed our plans for the better part of a day!"
Freedom Village
"If you ever consider to go to Dambulla, this is the place to be! The location is on a central point from which you can go easilly to beautiful landmarks as the Rock Temple, Lion’s Rock, Pidurangala Rock, Minnerya National Park or the ruïns of Polonnaruwa. But most of all we had an excellent stay with our hosts, Ajith, Sanjeewani & Tharini. They arrange everything you need. Even a dentist. And they are so nice! Ajith showed us around in the area and guided us during our climb on Pidurangala Rock. We certainly would like to return here!"
Green Senz - Tourist Board Approved Hotel & Hostel - Sigiriya
"We had a lovely stay here on Boxing Day and really enjoyed our time at the hotel. The staff and the owner were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The food was delicious and definitely a highlight of our stay. I’d highly recommend this hotel, especially since it’s close to great attractions like the iconic Sigiriya Rock and offers lovely village tour experiences nearby. Would happily stay again!"
Dambulla Tourist Resort
"Bed bugs on the bed 😭"
Flower Garden Eco Village
"As a fellow Chinese citizen, please, please, please don't go there! Even if you don't have a room, don't go. The decor is like a living tomb. The bed is made of cement, and all the furniture in the room is cast in concrete, except for a wardrobe made of a material that looks like it's made of a dark brown color. At 11 pm, a tiny, beeping insect the size of a thumb flew from the curtains onto the bed, scaring me half to death. I implore you to take this hotel down. I don't know what's so good about it, or what its commercial value is. The bathroom is even worse—indescribable, it's downright creepy."
Sigiriya King's Resort
"A most amazing place to spend a few days exploring Sigiriya. The location is set on a beautiful lake with views of the two rocks which you can climb during your stay. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you. The food was amazing too. Would definitely return to this hotel if we came back to visit Sri Lanka again."
Organic Garden Resort Sigiriya
"The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were particularly pleased with the organization help we received - including a tuktuk from the train station, advice and booking of our trip to lions rock, as well as a car to Kandy. Our trip was made seamless and comfortable at this hotel. Not to mention the food was incredibly tasty and delicious- felt like authentic Sri Lankan home cooking."
