Zemi Hotel Cappadocia

9.6/10
Amazing

On this trip to Turkey, I was shocked by how skillfully I found hotels that were 100% the best. I already wrote about the hotel in Istanbul, and now I'll write about the alien hotel in Cappadocia. Zemi Hotel: - The location is absolutely unique, right next to the Göreme Open-Air Museum. On the first day, I took a leisurely stroll to the museum, but I didn't know it was included in the 75-euro Red Tour I booked for the next day. The Göreme Open-Air Museum turned out to be the most interesting of all the places we were taken. You just need to know where to enter it, because when I was walking around, I went in the wrong places, and it turned out that was the end of the tour. The service at the hotel is wonderful; everyone smiles pleasantly and is ready to solve any problems you may have. I forgot my room card at the restaurant during breakfast. We arrived around 8 pm. I only realized I had no card. I went to reception, and they gave me a new one without a word. At breakfast, there's a cook who makes an omelet in front of you, but you just have to choose which ingredients. I'm very particular about the food in Turkey; there's very little I like. The sausages are terrible, the soups are awful, and not all the cheese is good, but there is some good cheese. You can find something tasty to eat in your room at the Zemi. The room was clean and large. I know what I'm talking about; this is my fourth time in Turkey, and this is my first trip where you can walk around the room without hitting the bed. The bathroom is a special treat; I used the jacuzzi after all those kilometers, and it was perfect. I ordered room service: lentel soup (a lentil soup they have everywhere, and it seems like they pour it from the same bucket) and pasta neopolitano. It was a bit dry, and there wasn't enough sauce. It's not far to the center; I'd always take that route, I've attached a photo. I'm honestly shocked by the price of a transfer from and to the airport – 75 euros. I'm not one to be scared, but I was. And it's the same price to the airport in Istanbul. Thank goodness I saw a minibus at the airport for 300 Turkish pesos (they're parked right outside the exit, there are three of them). I booked one for the return trip on the day of departure. This minibus picks up vacationers from their hotels and takes us all to the airport.

A beautiful hotel and a wonderful experience. Goreme is so beautiful and this hotel is located not too far from the central places where you can find lots of great restaurants and souvenir shops. The room is naturally cool and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the whole atmosphere at the hotel and the outside seating areas are perfect for relaxing after a long day of touring. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Aza Cave Cappadocia Adult Hotel

Goreme Treasure Cave Hotel | Aza gets rave reviews, great value for money! This hotel is a sister property to Sultan Cave Suites, sharing facilities, but Aza offers significantly better value! The rooms are larger, have better views, and even come with their own pools. Crucially, it's much quieter than Sultan – Sultan's front-facing rooms can be noisy due to the restaurant and bar, whereas Aza is completely peaceful, ensuring a good night's sleep. If you value quiet, this is the place to be. (Sometimes you can hear hallway noise when people enter the room next door, but overall it's quiet. However, the stairs can be challenging for elderly guests). The breakfast is incredibly generous, with the scrambled eggs and beef being a must-try. The food is plentiful and satisfying. If you want to see the hot air balloon sunrise, you can head directly to Sultan's observation deck for photos – you get the best of both worlds. The hotel's recommended excursions are a bit pricey; I suggest booking through a restaurant owner in town for much better deals. The SPA experience was a wonderful surprise – professional techniques and just the right amount of pressure. It offers far better value than other places in town and is my top pick for relaxation. What was most heartwarming was that my non-refundable booking dropped in price upon arrival, and Trip.com proactively refunded the difference. The hotel even upgraded me for free to a suite with a fireplace! A staff member kindly helped chop wood and start the fire. Listening to the sound of wood chopping in the courtyard and watching the warm glow of the fire in the room truly enhanced the cave accommodation experience – it was unforgettable. The cave room was very comfortable, the pool view was absolutely stunning, and the overall experience was perfect. If you're coming to Goreme, you can't go wrong with this place!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay with Sultan. The staff were amazing & helped us very much! A big shoutout to Darina, Yunus & all the rest who has helped us so attentively & replied to our messages whenever they can! One thing I would change about my trip is to make all my bookings with them! They actually have a list of vendors they worked with & in house tours which we can signed up for. We went for the Breakfast Tour & the Hammam at their sister’s hotel, both of it we absolutely loved. We would also like to commend Shams’ hospitality in guiding us on the Breakfast Tour, making our stay in Cappadocia such an enjoyable & restorative one ❤️

In general it’s good location, and very close to everything in town. The room is a kind of old school, which is fine. The hotel also provide a good buffet with a lot of options. The mini bar here is superb expensive, and you shall purchase from the neanhy supermarket rater than here

I booked the hotel because of the reviews and i did not regret it at all! One thing i like the most is the fragrance of the hotel; the lobby smells so good and so did our room! They helped us with the luggages and served tea when we arrived-- the check in experience was fantastic! Breakfast was tremendously luxurious and delicious. Tons of options and i didnt even know where to start. I did not capture the breakfast buffest since i was too busy eating. Their dessert is good too! Some turkish lokum, cakes and cookies. Wait, did i tell you that i love their salad as well? Oh yes, definitely need to mention that. Baha make sure we had a great time and even helped to deliver fries to our table before the breakfast time finished The whole team at the dining service were tip top-- they serve us with smile. All in all, the hotel's ambience, cleanliness and nice fragrance made us so comfortable that we didnt want to leave the hotel 🤣🤣 Thank you Grand Suite Hotel! Our first Cappadocia experience is complete with you!

This was a truly beautiful, stylish, and charming place. I was impressed by the facility's clear intention to provide excellent service and amenities in every corner, which was very satisfying. The breakfast was delicious, plentiful, and beautifully plated, making for a delightful start to the day for both the eyes and the palate. I enjoyed the breakfast ambiance so much that I also had dinner at the same restaurant, and that too was very satisfying. Above all, the cheerful attitude and clever wit of the staff serving breakfast and dinner made dining in an unfamiliar travel destination incredibly comfortable. However, I was a bit disappointed because I specifically chose this hotel for its indoor pool, hoping to escape the hot Cappadocia afternoons in a cool and comfortable setting. On the first day, the pool was occupied for an Instagram photoshoot, and on the second day, a family with very active children essentially had the pool all to themselves, so I couldn't use it properly. While the cleanliness and maintenance seemed excellent, the room itself was very dark with many shadowy corners, which made me wonder if thorough cleaning could be consistently maintained. The spacious and comfortable bed was fantastic, but the pillows were a bit disappointing. They seemed to be down-filled but were rather high, making them less comfortable for someone with specific sleeping preferences. I found them a bit uncomfortable, and it would be great if there were goose down pillow options. Despite the rather strenuous journey of exploring Zelve and the outdoor valleys in the hot midday sun, this place allowed me to have a pleasant and enjoyable time overall.

The place was clean, warm in a great location. Since I got a bad weather and stayed in the room I can say that the only thing that bugs me is the tv has only turkish channels. This is a factor to be improved due to turkish language has no similarities with English and being hard to understand. I guess because I choose the most cavely room the internet signal was weak and it was difficult to connect. Other than that I want to express my gratitude with the staff that was great.

I usually don’t write reviews, but this hotel was stunning. The staff is very friendly and very open to answer any question you might have. The pool was very refreshing for the midday hot weather in göreme. I liked the location, because it was close to everything, but not located in a loud place. The food from the hotel is very good, and they even prepared breakfast boxes for us for our early morning flight. I liked the decoration from the rooms and they smell very good. The view of the hot balloons from the hotel is incredible stunning. I will recommend this hotel and specially for kids, it even has an area for kids.
