Friendly staff, hotel restaurant is amazing, recommend to have breakfast and dinner there. However location is not very accessible if you travel by Train, need to call hotel to arrange transport from and to train station.

The hotel is located a few steps away from thunsee. (Lake) Staff were very nice and helpful The welcome drink was a nice touch Breakfast was excellent Room with a view to the lake and mountain The hotel is very quiet However it is a little bit pricey Dinner was expensive. Recommend to eat at the near by restaurants for lunch or dinner.

I've been looking forward to reviewing this hotel because we enjoyed our stay so much. The hotel is charming and probably the best place to stay in Spiez. Very convenient location, a few minutes (walk) away from the train station (they do offer a shuttle service as well, if needed) and 5 minutes (again walk) by the castle and lake. The rooms are absolutely spotless and super comfortable (amazing mattresses and pillows). We had a room with lake view and every morning and evening I loved going on the balcony to enjoy the fresh air, the mountain peaks and the sky (especially at night). We enjoyed the breakfast as well, not a lot of diversity, but very good quality. The spa is really amazing; I loved the heated outdoor swimming pool -- an absolute treat with views towards their beautiful garden and the lake. The staff has been very helpful and kind. Many thanks to Gerome (front desk) for all the useful recommendations during our stay. I can only say that we miss the hotel (and beautiful Spiez) already and look forward to returning soon!
