The new store has opened. The boss and the young men and women at the front desk provided great service and gave us some Wangzai milk. The sister Xiaotian at the front desk was lovely and enthusiastic. The room was clean and hygienic, there was self-service laundry and complete facilities. There was a breakfast supermarket downstairs which was very convenient. I had a comfortable and relaxing stay at the Hi Inn, so I stayed in Shaoxing for a few more days.

It's only a two-minute walk from Metro Exit B, and there are plenty of bus routes nearby too. My family of three rented an e-scooter from the owner. It had a navigation holder and good storage space for bags, snacks, and so on, which made getting around incredibly convenient. It saved us a lot of effort exploring this way, especially since many places we visited were just a quick scooter ride away. If something looked interesting, we'd hop off and take a photo. The e-scooter rental was also very affordable. Renting an e-scooter was the smartest decision we made on this trip. Shaoxing is great for walking tours, but a scooter is even better – otherwise, your feet would be worn out! Highly recommend it, especially for families with kids.
