Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. Villa was very well kept, with excellent views of the ocean. Pleasantly surprised by complimentary puddings and drinks. Manual grinder and coffee beans were a nice touch. Cons: Unable to drive directly to the villa due to safety policy. This made loading/unloading luggage very inconvenient. The walk to the carpark required negotiating a slippery gravel slope, which was even more dangerous in low-light conditions. Recommend to improve this with proper stairs or paved pathway.

I love this room so much. The location is perfect, near the JR Station. The room is big enough for us to open two suitcases fully. One thing I very much like is the laundry pods, the smell is very fragrant!I wanna know about the brand of the laundry pods.

I had an amazing time at this hotel. You will need to take 15 minutes taxi ride to reach here from Otaru station. It's right by the beach. Room is super spacious and comforting. There's kitchen and dining area. It was snowing so the balcony is filled with snow but the view is just so amazing. The staffs are very helpful. You can check in early with a small fee. Breakfast was simple. Complete amenities.

Facilities: The hotel is quite old, and while the facilities are in good condition, they aren't exactly modern. Surprisingly, there's a vintage audio system that plays music with a great ambiance from a bygone era. The sound quality also has that classic feel, which I loved. It's definitely worth experiencing this unique charm that other hotels don't offer. Service: Standard hotel service, but they upgraded my room without me even asking, which was a nice touch! Transportation: Even though the hotel is on a mountaintop, they offer a shuttle service to the nearest JR station, which is a huge plus. The Otaru Aquarium is just a few steps away, and the dolphin show is fantastic, plus the penguins are adorable. Scenery: This hotel probably boasts the most unique coastal cliff views in Otaru. It's truly postcard-worthy, and the best part is being able to enjoy it while soaking in the hot spring during the day. The scenery is beautiful and enjoyable. At night, however, you can't see anything. Hygiene: Standard hotel cleanliness. Food: I only stayed overnight and didn't try the food.

We stayed for four nights, and the ski package we booked was a good deal. However, on the first day, the staff at the ski rental shop seemed a bit unfamiliar with the process, which caused us quite a bit of hassle. The hotel's advantages are very clear. We chose it specifically for the convenient ski access. Every day, after skiing, being able to enjoy the hot springs before the crowds arrived was incredibly pleasant, especially since it was snowing during our stay, which made for a unique experience. We had dinner at the restaurant a few times. Since we made same-day reservations, our choices were limited, and our dining times were somewhat restricted. Despite the limited selection, the dinner food was good and not expensive. The downsides were also quite noticeable. Firstly, the moment I opened the toilet lid upon check-in, I found a curly hair, which was a real turn-off. It might have been an issue with the specific room we were assigned (this room was inexplicably next to the garbage room); the layout was a bit strange, and there were no bedside tables, which was very inconvenient. I personally felt that the staff's service attitude was good, but my spouse mentioned that he used polite language when communicating with the front desk, and he was surprised that they did not reciprocate the same level of courtesy.

I chose this guesthouse for its proximity to the train station and great value for the money, and I'm so glad I did! Even though it's a bit far from Sapporo city, the short 2-minute walk to the train station made getting around a breeze. The unit had everything I needed, including a washing machine and cooking essentials, which really made my stay comfortable. I definitely plan to book this guesthouse again for my next winter trip!

Advantages: The natural environment is good, the surrounding green waters and green mountains, the air is fresh, and the stars can be seen at night. Disadvantages: far from the city, there is a large hotel around the hotel that can provide catering services. There is no hair dryer in the room, no pot for boiling water (the hair dryer is shared at the front desk, and there is a water dispenser for boiling water in the corridor). There is no table in the room, it is not convenient to put things. The room type provided is different from the description of Trip.com (no sofa).

I booked for RM150, and this is my best hotel I stayed in Sapporo. The location is near the tourist area but its within neighborhood area, and its uphill. So for anyone with luggage might be struggling a bit if u dont have car. But, the view is amazing, and they gave me a room with snow view as i requested. The room are spotless, comfortable and have personal heater inside. The staff also very friendly and accomodating esp when I asked to borrow a charger. The public bath also big and u might have it all to yourself honestly (not that many guest during my stay). I would love to come back!

Positive: 1. Great Location decent size room with double sized beds with big space to move around compare to most other Japanese hotel 2. love the indoor parking at basement garage, especially during winter no snow cleaning required every morning. Negative: 1. lift is out of service, very inconvenient for people with big luggage, had to carry all the way up to the 3rd Floor. 2. Fake carpets on stairs, almost tripped over couple of times. 3. Owner never responds when assistance needed, upon on check-in, the pin code been given is useless because the room door are always unlocked, actual key is placed on the table in the room. Tried to contact the owner via WeChat WhatsApp line phone calls none of above responded, just seemed like the hotel is unmanned the whole time. 4. Had a little incident one morning where one of the guest parked his car right front of the parking garage door, which blocked my way out, again had to contact the owner, never responded, got no choice but to contact police for help.

Pro: Nice looking apartment, spacious for family of 4. Carpark lot was provided for the guest. Easy to check-in Walking distance to the otaru canal Cons: There was urine stench inside the toilet. I had to clean the toilet seat and around it unfortunately the smell still remained. Secondly, we can smell cigarette at the living room in the morning as we believed that there was a guest smoking g from upstairs or downstairs.
