The Powder House in was a quaint and peaceful B & B and a fantastic location. I could walk to everything. The owner was kind enough to make a breakfast that I could actually eat with my allergies. Enjoy your time in St. Augustine.

We stayed in room 9. It’s a strange small layout. The sitting/living room was too small for the big screen TV ,so we stayed in the bedroom wich had its own TV. The bed was great, very comfy. The hygiene standards were terrible. The bathroom barely looked cleaned, and the AC reeked of mold, which kept me up all night. I honestly would not recommend this place to anyone, and I certainly won't be returning.

The room provided wasn't 100% ready on our arrival the rooms advertised refrigerator was pulled out from its location with the door left opensitting on top of a towel collecting water that had been leaking for some time. Mint. Did respond quickly to the matter by cleaning up the watery mess and getting the refrigerated back into place. The refrigerator was plugged back in but eventually started to leak during the past 3 days of stay. The room did feel damp as there may have been high humidity present.
