"A 5* hotel for Chinese customers, not international guests.
The hotel facilities are really nice with nice bedrooms and the park around the hotel is a real plus. They also propose a lot of activities. On that side, this is up to intercontinental standards or even above.
However, there were 3 points that were disappointing and for us are not up to standards for a 5 stars hotel:
- no English-speaking staff is not acceptable for an international brand. We could not communicate at the reception or restaurant.
- it is mentioned 4 restaurants are open on the website and in the public area (1 Japanese, 1 Chinese, 1 buffet and 1 international) while actually only 2 were opened : the Chinese and international one. The latter is not up to international standard: no dessert menu, drinks menu only available in Chinese and the quality was average at best.
- Service for food and drinks is generally speaking very slow (1h to get hamburger while being the only customer/ +30mn to get drinks at the bar) even though the staff is nice."

"The experience of staying at Qiandao Lake Sheraton completely refreshed my expectations for resort hotels! The room is very large, with a warm and modern layout. The floor-to-ceiling windows face the beautiful scenery of Qiandao Lake. In the morning, I make a cup of coffee by the window and watch the mist on the lake, as if I were in an ink painting. Such a view is definitely worth the room price!
Breakfast is definitely a surprise-from Chinese freshly made dim sum, black rice balls, to Western exquisite dessert tables, there are many choices to start the day in a good mood! I also want to praise the caring housekeeper Cora Pan. From the itinerary suggestions before check-in to the warm greetings every day, the service is meticulous and makes people feel warm like a friend!
The high-speed rail station shuttle service provided by the hotel is also a super plus! It saves the trouble of dragging luggage around. The overall experience is impeccable. It is definitely a highlight memory of the trip to Qiandao Lake. I strongly recommend it to all relatives who pursue quality and service."

"It took 8 hours to drive from Shanghai to Qiandao Lake during the Qingming Festival. When I arrived at the hotel, the fatigue was relieved by the warm atmosphere in front of me, and even turned into excitement.
The three-day and two-night stay was very good, and the holiday feeling was full.
This is a very attentive hotel, with a low-key design and natural beauty (the photos were taken from the hotel). The hardware and ingredients are of high quality, and the subtle and warm service is a plus. I will choose Keren next time."

"It’s was our first time in the resort stay only one night but our stay was very pleasant tks to all the staff very helpful, we booked garden view but they help us upgrade to lake view and special tks to MAKSIM for his hospitality and help,
The resort it’s every well located easy to find ,
The room very clean and comfortable, the restaurant have very good and testy food, the breakfast buffet was great.
All the recreational area are spectacular.
I will definitely back to the resort."

"The hotel is generally attracting families. The facilities are good, but don't quite reach premium level.
Something that bothered me a lot was the fact, that we booked rooms with lake view. However our rooms were on the opposite site of the lake and we could see only a tiny fragment of it and not actually the real view over the lake. Under that definition, every room could count as lake view, but that isn't quite the understanding I have of it."

"The following points are worth praising:
The lobby manager Xiutian was very enthusiastic and sent welcome fruit drinks;
It is great to have a laundry room. I feel that having a laundry room has become a necessary condition for me to book a hotel in the future;
The breakfast is also good, quite rich. The children ate tea eggs, bread, white porridge and juice;
The children's playground is also good. The children played in it for a long time. It is a must-choose parent-child hotel for lying-flat travel with children;
I didn't experience the swimming pool because the weather was a little cold;
A small episode, there is a happy dog downstairs in the hotel. It doesn't have any class flavor. I envy it instantly when I see it. Why can't I be happy like him by playing with a branch?

"We had a great time in the bright resort for our weekend bike trip round Qiandao lake. The room was big, the view was very nice and having the hot springs after a long day on the bike was great. It was very clean and the breakfast was ok considering the overall price. Service was very good, we had some special requests because of our bikes and checkout-time which was super easy to align with the front desk. We directly got the contact of 温柔大哥欧耶耶 who was super nice, answered super fast and really gave us the feeling she want to make our stay special and welcoming. Thanks for a great weekend"

"I brought my parents to Qiandao Lake Qi Yue Resort on April 7. The courtyard here is deep and secluded, the scenery is beautiful and unique, the lake water is crystal clear, and the air is fresh. It can be said to be a natural oxygen bar. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, the ”housekeeper Xiao Fang” welcomed us warmly and provided us with detailed help and introductions to the surrounding attractions. I would like to give special praise to ”housekeeper Xiao Fang”. We were generally satisfied with our stay at Qiandao LakeQiyue Resort, especially the all-inclusive model here. We will definitely come back next time we are on vacation. "

"The room was very comfortable and spacious for the family of 4 of us. Unfortunately the weather was against us and rained everyday whole day during our visit and couldn’t go do sightseeing by foot.
The “guest bathroom” drain was releasing a very unpleasant stinky smell throughout our visit. Highly recommend to spend a few RMB and buy the drain smell problem solver (see picture attached). Promise it will solve the problem!! Installed it in all our apartments where we lived in China that had the same issue.
Our daughter (and us) enjoyed the playroom even though the a/c systems did not allow warm air to heat the room (setting was on hot= 35 degrees Celsius, high speed, but never went over 15 degrees Celsius). Cleanliness could be looked at, lots of human hair lying around.
Reception could possibly take an English course to accommodate non-Chinese speakers, but the language translator came in handy.
Breakfast was mainly Chinese like. But good variety, shouldn’t go hungry."

JJOOZWAYI have always wanted to experience the beauty of Qiandao Lake. It was my birthday so I rewarded myself with a trip to Qiandao Lake. For such a leisurely vacation, the choice of homestay is so important! Yungu Songjian Homestay was planted as soon as I saw its pictures. It is surrounded by mountains and has a white two-story building. It has a unique atmosphere even on rainy days. It also has a large swimming pool. It is also very good for taking photos at night. The afternoon tea is exquisite and delicious. They can also provide full meals. They are all authentic specialties. They are delicious and tasty. The staff of the homestay are very enthusiastic. They will take the initiative to ask about your needs and everything is arranged properly! You can feel the kindness and warmth. This really gave me a great experience of the trip to Qiandao Lake!

GGuest UserArrived at Qiandao Lake Anlan on the afternoon of May 16 after the rain. The fresh air after the rain, the architecture reveals a clear, elegant, simple and ethereal feeling. The Hui-style buildings with white walls and gray tiles are scattered among the green mountains and green waters, just like Mr. Wu Guanzhong's ink painting of Jiangnan. No words can explain its exquisiteness and beauty. The overall style of the hotel is minimalist. Outside every transparent window, there is an intoxicating ink painting. Here, lying on the couch by the window, watching the mountains and lakes or the sunset, you can spend half a day. The bathroom is super large, with a clear pattern, spacious and comfortable, excellent light, and a unique style. The outdoor swimming pool is a good place to punch in and take pictures. The food in the restaurant is mainly local specialties and health-preserving delicacies, which makes people have endless aftertaste. The humanities are the warmest. You must like the butler LEO, contact the itinerary on WeChat in advance, and upgrade the room to a lake view room; the service is professional and thoughtful, and after leaving, they also prepare bread and water on the road and the chef's homemade souvenirs; the photographer Xiao Xu of the travel photography is very professional and very satisfied. The shuttle bus driver, cleaning lady, and restaurant waiter were all very enthusiastic. It was an unforgettable weekend vacation, and I will choose Qiandao Lake Anlan next time.

My only complaint is about the outside swimming pool, it was deactivated and I didn’t see any information about it in the booking page. I was very disappointed with it, because I chose this hotel mainly for the outdoor swimming pool. I don’t like indoor swimming pool, this one was open. The breakfast is wonderful, the best I had in China. The room is confortable, the view to the garden is lovely.

I opened Ctrip to compare prices and found Qiandao Lake New Century Resort, which has the best value for money in the off-season. The 5-star resort is located on the Qilin Peninsula and is surrounded by the lake on three sides. It offers an unparalleled lake view and is planned by top international architects and designers. It is high-end and classy. As soon as we got off the car, the doorman welcomed us with a smile. The front desk also received us with a smile and upgraded my room for free, from a view room to a lake view room, which surprised me. It was great. They also assigned me a housekeeper, a sweet girl from Taizhou. Her name is Yaya-7576. She is also very warm and thoughtful. She responds to all requests. I want to thank her here. I am very satisfied with her service. The hotel is very clean and hygienic. The breakfast has a wide variety of patterns and tastes great. I like her freshly ground coarse grain drink and red dates and longan drink the most. Drinking a cup of it is both beautifying and nourishing. Haha, I feel at home staying there. I can enjoy the sunrise and sunset on the beach of the hotel, which is very good. When I checked out, I was given a peace and joy gift package. I came here happily and left with satisfaction. I am very satisfied with this stay experience and will patronize it next time.

GGuest UserThe hotel is built on Wenxin Island. The environment is as elegant as its name. You can see the lake view from the room and the sunset is beautiful. From the front desk reception to the room service and catering, they are all very attentive and considerate. The shuttle bus for early departure and late return is also available on call. It is a good place to relax your body and mind. It is a perfect May Day holiday. Five-star praise 👍👍👍I will come again during the summer vacation.

AAnyaWe had such a wonderful time at Voco! The hotel is very clean and beautiful. The views of the lake are gorgeous- especially from the breakfast restaurant and the gym. You can watch the sun set right over the water. The hotel staff members were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and there are plenty of options. I do think the restaurant prices for lunch/dinner are a bit high, but the hotel is just a walk away from other restaurants. It’s located on Yangguang Road, right along a running/walking path next to the lake. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Qiandaohu!

Sshaoping19The hotel's name isn't particularly memorable, but I booked a suite for two nights on short notice and was very impressed. The suite is over 100 square meters, offering ample space for two children to crawl around freely.
The hotel enjoys an excellent location, and its overall architectural design is quite impressive, with a resort-style layout where buildings artfully encircle a central landscape. The three outdoor swimming pools provide plenty of fun for the kids.
The service was surprisingly good. They offer a WeChat concierge service, and the staff at the front desk, Chinese restaurant, Western restaurant, and housekeeping were all very polite and service-oriented. Notably, the front desk service was significantly better than at the Voco hotel where I stayed for the previous two nights.
As for areas for improvement, the hotel's facilities feel a bit dated; they are certainly not new. Some exterior walls have climbing vegetation, and a few surface tiles are falling off. From the balcony of our luxury sea view suite, a couple of large trees unfortunately obstruct the view. The landscape design could definitely use an update. Inside the room, the blackout was inadequate, and we had to request technical staff to set up a temporary solution. Furthermore, it's a pity that the hotel's pier is abandoned, despite being in an excellent location.
Overall, the hotel boasts an excellent location and a well-designed architectural layout. If the facilities were renovated, the landscaping optimized, and the overall service procedures more systematized, it could easily become one of the leading hotels in Qiandao Lake in terms of overall quality and competitiveness.

GGuest UserOur time at the Sheraton Qiandao Lake was excellent. The staff went out of their way to help us and make our trip and stay smooth. Sauron was especially helpful and was only a text message away. We would really recommend the hotel. The hot springs were lovely and warm!
The only slight inconvenience is its slightly further away from everything and you need to Didi for everything as non Chinese citizens can't use the ebikes or bikes as a foreigner.

LLittle Prince 小王子This hotel is in a small island and from the parking lot they will pick you up with a small cart. There are different kind of rooms depending on the price. We had the cheapest one but trip promised they will give us an upgrading and do they did. We got a bedroom and living room with balcony and nice view of the lake. Breakfast has many choices. It is nice to walk around the island but there is nothing else around. All three hotel restaurants are quite expensive.
There is also an outdoor and indoor pool.

GGaz CResort is right next to the Asian Games velodrome and village park for the guests. Location wise it’s about 20km away from the main attractions. Resort itself is new. Definitely kids centered that has enough entertainment for them inside and / or nearby the resort. Our favorite was a sports hall dedicated to basketball, badminton and table tennis. The resort staff were top quality, very polite and courteous. Special mention goes out to Nancy and Oubelle. Without them our stay wouldn’t have been so special.
