We couldn’t have picked a better hotel for our quick vacation in Stockholm this April 2024. Motel L is stylish, reasonably priced and conveniently located. Upon entering the hotel, we were impressed by the contemporary design of the lobby and the carpeted floors. Our check in experience was a breeze. At 15 sqm, our room was on the small side but it was never lacking in style – there were two comfortable Carpe Diem beds and a rainshower in the bathroom. The soundproofing was also excellent affording us two restful nights.
The location is unbeatable – there’s a coffeeshop (Espresso House) and a supermarket (ICA Supermarket) right next door. And the Martensdal tram station is just literally outside the hotel, like less than 50 steps away. It usually took us 20-30 minutes to get to T-Centralen.
We were very pleased with Motel L and would never hesitate to come back here. Also worth mentioning are the warm and friendly staff. Shout out to May who really charmed us with her personality during our stay!

Stayed here for 3 nights with my family for our quick holiday in Stockholm. Super friendly and lovely staff. Ended up getting breakfast on our last day and found it worth the price! Lots of options, continental style and nice variety of drinks. There is a tram stop right outside that provides excellent links to the centre of Stockholm. Found their public transport easy to navigate too! There’s an espresso house, pharmacy and supermarket right next door! Arlanda airport is 35 mins drive and you can ask at reception to book airport transfer :) would highly recommend this hotel and would book again if you ever go back to Stockholm! Oh also the TV channels in the hotel room was great! Lots of British shows that we were pleasantly surprised with. Also the shower pressure was amazing! Always a bonus in hotels!

Very friendly personnel at the front desk, however checking in was a bit slow this time. Breakfast was good Swedish standard so no need to have a lunch. Clean rooms and free wi-fi are a plus. I have been at this hotel a few times and will call again in two months.

Clean room, very kind staff, convenient location to use the metro, nice bar, breakfast and coffee were great too. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Stockholm!

A really nice hotel in a really convenient location for heading into the centre of Stockholm or the surrounding areas. Every member of staff I spoke to were professional and courteous.
The continental breakfast was very good. I had a grilled sandwich from the bar one evening which was nice as well. The lobby has free tea/coffee/water, which is good (the rooms not having tea/coffee making facilities was a shame but this made up for it). The hotel gym is decent and generally pretty quiet which was nice.
Booked a twin room (as travelling with a friend), and the bed was basically a double but with separate small mattresses, which wasn't ideal but not the end of the world. That aside, the room was perfectly comfortable.
Visiting Stockholm made me want to go back, and I'll definitely consider staying at this hotel again if I am able to go back.
