A delightful hotel full of fascinating paraphernalia as decorations. A very pleasant ambiance enhanced by most helpful staff.
Special call out for the dedicated gluten free breakfast dishes.

Just a little stay over night for a birthday. The hotel is charming and was fun to walk around and see the nautical private collection. The love letter from Nelson to Hamilton was a treat. They also have preserved ruins in the dining room of the Lion Tower that sat on the location before the hotel. The room was charming and we were greeted warmly by the staff. There was even a personal welcome card in the room with a small Bottle of port wine.
They even have smart TVs in the rooms that made the experience enjoyable.

The location is very convenient, just a minute's walk from the subway station in the old town. The hotel is small but very exquisite. It is full of nautical-related collections. It is a bit scary if you accidentally glance at it at night, but the layout of the hotel is still very interesting. The breakfast is in the basement and the atmosphere is very good. good. There is also a sauna that you can book in advance for 1.5 hours that is completely your own. It is a large space with a changing area, sauna, cold pool area and shower area. 1.5 hours is completely enough. The hotel price is very cheap, which is a surprise for this trip.

Beautifully decorated, but some comfort issues. Most importantly, the bed was terribly uncomfortable. The shower had two shower heads, which was convenient, but one had an unnecessary amount of water pressure to the point that we had to turn it almost off to use it Robes, slippers, towel warmer, espresso maker, and a night cap drink provided on the first night was a nice touch. The hotel bar was very loud and ridiculously crowded. While located within walking distance to many other places, it would have been nice to sit at the bar on location.
Cute hotel with some nice features, but I wouldn’t book again because of the bed.

The lady in the hotel lobby was amazing. She knew that we were leaving early, so she prepared a breakfast to go for us as the buffet was not yet available. This exceeded our expectation from the hotel.

A unique, quirky and attractive hotel. The welcome was warm and the room gorgeous. Lovely extra touches - mulled wine and snacks at reception, port and chocolate our first night, large towels and fluffy bathrobes, super comfy beds and pillows and tea/coffee making facilities in the corridors. Friendly, helpful staff and the most amazing breakfast!
The bathroom was fab with a large shower. First thing, we had to run the hot tap for quite a while for it to come through and there was no drawer space but plenty of room in the wardrobe to improvise and lots of hangers/room for toiletries. Hairdryer/cotton pads/buds/shampoo/body wash provided. Drinking water from the tap crisply cold.
We didn't want to leave and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Mycket mysigt hotell. Bra frukost i den bästa av miljöer en trappa ner med en gammal framtagen mur från 1300-talet synlig. Mycket fina restauranger finns i huset och även en genuin pub.
