Ultraconservative german newspaper "Tichys Einblick" for sale at reception desk. Not a comfortable situation for a foreigner. Please ban this stuff to be a bit more cosmopolitan. I was really shocked about this offer. Breakfast an Beer was ok.

We had a great stay at the hotel. Fantastic location in the beautiful city of Stralsund. the staff were all very nice and service orientated. We stayed here nine years ago and hopefully it will not take that long before we come back!

What a nice stay at this excellent Hotel. Service was top class and we all enjoyed our stay and will for sure come back. We needed some extra assistant and the staff did not hesitate to fulfill our requirements.

Pro: old town (but not super central), historic building, very friendly staff, good restaurant, clean, friendly receptionists. The overall hotel concept is convincing. Public car park in the immediate vicinity. Contra- Twisted, long underground corridor to the rooms (one elevator down, walk, another elevator up, plus several separate doors/exits, a little labyrinth; there are clear signs, but several guests were confused and an elderly couple got lost and had to call their relatives for help...), rooms quite dark (I was in the back building), breakfast concept time-consuming (only à la carte, no buffet; but quality very good), WLAN not in operation. Stylish De'Longhi (?) espresso machine for coffee pods in the room (the hotel also roasts coffee) - but not very functional.

A truely wonderful hotel in a great location with charming, efficient and very friendly staff. The bedroom was comfortable with a very good bathroom. The restaurant was excellent too. We had a delicious dinner and the breakfasts were outstanding too, All in all, a real gem of a hotel.

Great hotel with nice restaurant. Full breakfast is being served at the table.The wellness area with massage great. Stralsund is a nice town and hotel is in the center. No need for a car, you can walk to museums restaurants etc. Nice mixture of newly renovated buildings, but also remains from the East-German days. We are coming back soon.

Fantastic Hotel! High standard on rooms and facilities. Dinner was perfect! Best Hotel breakfast i have enyoed. Staf was very kind and professionel! Situated in the zenter and near to everything. I strongly recomend this Hotel!

Room too small and hot (no air conditioning). Staff don't speak English. German guests are preferred (at the reception, at breakfast, ...). In the room the staff remove a spider web at our arrival saying 'ops sorry'. No extra cleaning for that.
