Tiara Beach - All Inclusive

I went here for 7 days late August- early September. It wasn't the worst experience though I feel the hotel has a lot of flaws. Firstly, the lack of food variety in the restaurant is insane! It's like eating bread everyday for breakfast, chips for lunch and plain chicken for dinner; it'd be fairly boring. There were little to no of beef and fish, as well as very few desserts. And despite there being various no smoking signs, countless people still use cigarettes and it honestly smells horrid to people who don't use them and the workers don't even do anything about it. There's also a ridiculously overpriced 40 Lev deposit for each towel! I get that it's a deposit and it wouldn't be too bad if they allowed Euro or GBP. But they don't which means you need to pay out all of your leftover GBP to exchange it into Lev, which is very annoying. On the positive side though, the Wi-Fi is very good and works well in hotel rooms and even in the pool areas! The waterslides and the pool are also very entertaining and nice. The location is pretty nice too. There's a super cool experience when you enter the closest beach (which is only around a 3 minute walk!) Overall, the hotel needs a fair bit of improvement but it has lots of potential!

Hotel foyer impressive on arrival. Room comfy and clean. Reception staff helpful. Restaurant staff and chefs work incredibly hard but never smile no matter how polite you are to them. Bar staff work really hard too. Food - can be repetitive but we never went hungry. It wasn’t always hot partly due to the fact they put it in hot plates with lids and these are constantly being opened for people to serve themselves. My son enjoyed the waffles from the bar near the slides in the afternoon. Again staff in there never smiled. Drinks - cocktails are sweet and as per most all inclusive it is their local spirits not your brands but we enjoyed trying them. Towels replaced if you needed them to be by leaving them on the floor in the bathroom as instructed. Nice walk to Nessebar old town approximately 50 minutes. Caught the bus back for 2 leva per person. Never failed to get a sunbed. Animation team work tirelessly and remember lots of names, making you feel special. The walk into Sunny Beach is about 15-20 minutes. It was very busy in the evening.

2nd year in a row that we came to this hotel as it ticked all the boxes last year. This year huge improvement in the restaurant being extended and the variety of food ( though we didn’t struggle last year). You can tell the staff took pride in their food sections and the serving areas were well thought out. The fresh salad and dessert areas were amazing. And the table were cleared and cleaned almost immediately. The pool area was clean with new umbrellas which didn’t go unnoticed, just a shame some holiday makers didn’t seem to care with cigarette ends, ash, and rubbish discarded. Hotel rooms clean and modern, could do with a deep clean though- plug hole mould, dusty light shades, under beds- but on the whole clean and cleaned every day. Animation staff never stopped and really friendly getting people involved. They did random and funny shows and one night had a firework display- which was a surprise and pretty impressive. Staff as a whole friendly and helpful- I don’t find rude, just efficient and helpful. I did have an incident arise during our stay which was dealt with swiftly and professionally by the Manager. All in all a great holiday with three hard to please teenagers and two adults trying to relax :-) .

This was our first time in Bulgaria and we certainly picked a very good hotel . We were very happy with our stay and found the staff to be very courteous. The food was varied enough to put together a good meal and the food was well seasoned ... The animation team were hard working and cheerful and did their best to give everyone a good time . The 2 bars at the hotel were well stocked with drinks but international brands were extra and not included in all inclusive price . The hotel rooms we had were very spacious and clean . The best we have had in last 3 years ! The gym was very good and had machines and loose olympic weights about 150kg in plates PLUS good range of dumbells going up to about 30kg a side ! This is important to us as three of us train ! We will defo be coming back again as it was a great holiday.

Brill holiday! We went out of season so a bit quiet as expected. A couple bar staff where good but most were so miserable which put our 1st drink experience as a bad 1 and not pleasant going to the bar at all (not that it stopped us ha). The outside chef was horrible and refused my 8 year old son a waffle when it was 3.30 and finished at 5 and was very mean and rude. The manager did go straight to him but we didn't go again to him. Also, they didn't have the water slides on out of season which was not good. Other staff and entertainers were really great! Need to work on the sunbed challenge activities though. Food was lovely. Big shame that they didn't put music and lights on at night like they did in day so night's were a bit grim other than the 1 night they did Mr tiara beach. Had to sit at sun beds to have our own music and fun. All the residents we made friends with said the same. Really enjoyed it and would go again but when it is in season. Hotel really need a word with staff about customer services though. Overall a holiday is what you make it and we had a great time x

Not a bad experience but definitely not a 4 star. After reading a lot of positive reviews, I feel a little disappointed. The pros: Decent sized room. Nice layout of the hotel. Nice pool area and slides. Gym. Decent all inclusive beer. The cons: The food was unacceptable a lot of nights. I'm not fussy at all but the lack of choice became frustrating sometimes. It was tiresome having to eat the same sort of food most nights. Meat, rice, chips, pizza. There was on ocasion some veg, carrots and peas. I'm trying to be balanced in this review. They had a good selection of fruit and salad but the food needs to improve. Cutlery, plates and glasses were dirty. No entertainment as such. Something for the kids and the odd quiz but nothing for the adults of an evening. Despite being advertised as Sunny Beach, the hotel is actually a good 20+ minute walk from the *****, so bear that in mind. Not a terrible experience. I'm not one to let a few hiccups spoil a holiday and I try to be balanced. Certainly not a Karen...Well maybe a bit but I think I'm being fair here. It's a 3 star hotel.

Room was great, had a great view of the pool from the balcony which was amazing. Room service every day, new towels, beds made etc. Plenty of sunbeds, never had to fight for a lounger as there were always plenty. Entertainment guys were amazing, always a friendly smile & always interacting with everybody however couldn't say the same for the bar staff and restaurant staff - they were really rude and had no manners whatsoever. Food was horrendous. 9 times out of 10 the food was stone cold - even if you did come down at 6pm when the restaurant opened. Drinks machine was hardly ever working, drinks always flat. Glasses were dirty, and cutlery wasn't clean. On site shop was way overpriced, not quite sure how they get away with charging some of the prices they do. Overall the hotel itself is a lovely hotel however due to the restaurant standards, I wouldn't say it was a 4 star hotel, I'd probably give it a 3 star maximum

This is not a 4 star hotel. Any reviews which say otherwise are a lie. The rooms are dirty. Toilets down at bar/restaurant area are not cleaned. Rooms are not cleaned properly and would not go into pool as looks filthy. Food is terrible. Lack of choice and what food there is, it is not cooked properly or is tasteless. I have no idea why this is being sold as 4 star. Have had to eat out every day as the food is so bad. Never stayed in such a bad hotel. Would say 2 star at best. Avoid at all costs!!

Mariyan and Kristiyan were the two best bartenders I’ve ever had the pleasure of pouring my drinks, give kristiyan a nice bonus for his excellent customer service and get mariyan a contract for his exquisite photography. 5/5 would go again.
