the hotel itself is great, I would not mind to give a 5. However, the booking is confusing. I booked via Trip app, and selected pay at hotel option. However, my credit card still got charged immediately. While checking in, the front desk asked me to pay again, since their record shows I need to pay at hotel, and I paid cash. Now I have paid double for my stay, not sure when they are going to refund me.

Location is pretty good if you want to be in the city. It’s not far from the train station and many attractions/tourist spots.
Room was pretty good, large, and clean.
Service was good, nothing you wouldn’t expect for a hotel like Marriott but good.
Swimming pool was clean and pretty big. There are lockers, showers, and everything you’d need. There was literally no one inside so it made it even better.

Breakfast was disappointing. The selection was quite large but some of the foods were not fresh: pastries, hash browns, and probably others. Juice or soya milk was mixed with water so it wasn’t great.
Of course some other things were fresh but I expected way more from such a hotel.

There is a very nice hotel and the hotel staff are very helpful, one of them is Du Tonghui 杜同辉 amd.the front desk manager (if im not mistaken), both of them are very kind to people. It is possible to spend a whole day in this hotel enjoying the facilities.

This hotel is amazing. They have English speaking staff. The breakfast is good. I booked a premier room with a view but they upgraded me to an executive suite for free.

Fantastic location in Suzhou, everything is within 20 minutes drive. The swimming pool is very nice and breakfast is excellent

Give Suzhou Marriott Hotel 100 points👏 Overall the experience is very good👍 As soon as you enter the door, there is a very warm welcome from the receptionist. The hotel room is very clean, without a bit of dust. I stayed in room 4412, an executive suite, which was very quiet. The floor attendants were warm and thoughtful. The executive lounge afternoon tea was also very good, starting at 2:30 every afternoon. You can also go there to have a glass of milk and watch the night view before going to bed at night. The breakfast is also very rich. If I come to Suzhou next time, I will choose Marriott Hotel again! Recommended to everyone
