We had the most wonderful stay at Giardino Boutique Hotel. Philip welcomed us with a big smile, was super attentive, and was so incredibly hospitable. We are here on our honeymoon and he asked us about our wedding and told us about his life and sweet girlfriend. The hotel was very clean and cozy, and their homemade breakfasts are something you can not miss. 5 stars all around.

you can see through the 'frosted' glass of the bathroom that is directly on the hallway. this is a privacy issue. after refusing to stay there, the hotel refused to give me a full refund and then had the audacity to make me pay the commission they pay to ***********. the manager had contacted me directly and was rude and abrupt and was more concerned about me leaving a poor review than offering his assistance and good customer service. *********** have attempted to be in touch with the hotel to get me the agreed refund however almost 4 weeks later and they are still ignoring. i have attached a photo below of what you can see from the hallway into the bathroom. note they didn't have curtains or blinds so you have no way of hiding this. also no body wash and no welcome drink was provided. hostel vibes charging 4 star prices.

Beautiful hotel. Very high standard of service and rooms very good. Comfortable and clean. Even had a fridge which unusual in Namibia.Lovely garden with heated pool. Staff are great.Breakfast the best we had in Namibia. About a mile walk into town on quiet road.
Recommend Fish Deli for eating.

The rooms were wonderful and comfy. The staff was attentive and helpful. We were given good recommendations on activities. Two minor downsides: it was a bit of walk to the downtown (we needed the exercise) and there are no doors on the bathrooms. That said, we'd be happy to stay here again.

Tip- don’t go! Condescending staff. Save your money, you’d be better off staying at a hostel or in a tent. Not worth it and they massively overprice themselves. Nothing boutique about it unfortunately.

Excellent service, very good breakfast, nice garden with heated pool in a safe and quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay even so the hotel is a little far from the city center. We took a cab, that wasn’t a problem. Hotel and rooms stylishly furnished, bathroom small, without door. Staff and owner very friendly!

Clean, newly refurbished rooms. Good wifi and hot water. Quite cold when the weather isn't too warm outside, and not the most accommodating of welcomes - staff seemed far more concerned with the reviews likely to be given by outgoing guests, and vice versa on day of departure. Indoor lounge areas used by staff during the day and so didn't feel able to use them. Centre of town is walkable,but remember that it gets dark earlier than in Europe if walking home alone. Not sure I'd recommend it for solo travellers as I mainly felt I was an inconvenience rather than a guest, probably fine and more welcoming for couples/groups.

The Giardino is the perfect place to relax in Swakopmund. The rooms and the hotel is beautifully decorated and the pool was a great temperature. Lovely breakfast and all the staff were welcoming and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Great hotel- a beautiful, quiet and cozy place in Swakopmund. Everything was so stylish and clean. We especially loved the pool area on a hot afternoon. To the city center is is only a short drive or you could even walk there. Would always go back there!
