Great
EEyad batalReceptionist are very welcoming and helpful.
The room so so. There is a sound from the bathroom that doesnot stop and prevent you from sleeping and the digging started at 9 am on weekend and the pillows are high and not comfortable
GGee88The hotel is beautiful, clean and the location is very central. However the indoor pool in the spa was being emptied in the middle of the day when we tried to use it. Service around the outdoor pool was bit slack for the prices you are paying. However the biggest problem was parking. Felt like we were being taken on a ride, we were told that a full day parking was $25 which we paid, despite the fact that is a really extortinate price for the area, however at the end of our stay we were told that the $25 covers 8 hours only so we were charged twice and extra $9 for an additional three hours stay. So in total we paid $59 for around 20hours of parking which sounds extreme, not to mention the rude way we’re asked to pay. It was the experience I was hoping for, I am unlikely to go back, which is a shame because it is such a historical and beautiful hotel.
YYIMINGThis hotel is an anime cartoon theme, and the elevators and corridors are all anime-themed characters from the Avengers. There is a western restaurant outside on the first floor. The outside environment is average. It is full of all kinds of cars, so it is not easy to find. Breakfast is on the top floor with a view across Lebanon. There is a swimming pool, gym, but no hot springs.
JjiticiAdding a few more points to my previous review.
On the morning of my departure, after breakfast, a lady from the restaurant asked me to fill out a survey. I rated the food variety a 7, indicating I wasn't fully satisfied. She then prompted me to specify what I'd like to eat, so I wrote down fried rice and fried noodles. She mentioned that they could actually inform the kitchen to prepare it fresh for me. This genuinely impressed me; the service here is truly exceptional. What a shame it would have to be for a future visit!
One more tip: In Lebanon, there's generally no need to exchange for Lebanese Pounds. Almost all establishments accept US dollars, and often at a more favorable exchange rate than dedicated currency exchange booths.
One peculiar observation: when using Uber in Lebanon, drivers frequently demand an additional fee on top of the app's quoted price. I've sometimes refused and opted to re-book or find another ride, but there are instances when finding a taxi is difficult, and I've had to reluctantly agree to the surcharge.
IImadDecent Hotel, located in the Verdun area near the elegant ABC mall where once can find a variety of restaurants and cafes, however, no supermarket in the vicinity.
IIrma555The hotel is nice, located near the sea, with its own excellent beach area, several pools, a restaurant, and a bar. Standard room with breakfast. The downside was the room was very smoky, and there was always smoke coming from the next room.
Cccc4502Although it is a bit old, it is very good overall. There is free bottled water and a small balcony. You can see the Mediterranean Sea from the high floors. The hotel can help you book a shuttle bus to the airport. It takes about 20 minutes to drive to the airport.
