I ordered an extra bed in the morning after paying 30$ for it it was send at 12 am and the bed was awful and mattress was very dirty. An experience i do not advice anybody to explore."

"The hotel is beautiful, clean and the location is very central. However the indoor pool in the spa was being emptied in the middle of the day when we tried to use it. Service around the outdoor pool was bit slack for the prices you are paying. However the biggest problem was parking. Felt like we were being taken on a ride, we were told that a full day parking was $25 which we paid, despite the fact that is a really extortinate price for the area, however at the end of our stay we were told that the $25 covers 8 hours only so we were charged twice and extra $9 for an additional three hours stay. So in total we paid $59 for around 20hours of parking which sounds extreme, not to mention the rude way we’re asked to pay. It was the experience I was hoping for, I am unlikely to go back, which is a shame because it is such a historical and beautiful hotel."

"One of the most disappointing experiences: We had booked a honeymoon suite a month in advance, but when we arrived, there were two separate beds in the room. Reason: hotel is fully booked!! The honeymoon package promised flowers in the room, but we found dried flowers on the bed, which made it uncomfortable to sleep. The orange juice was not fresh, and the cake was far from being good quality. Getting toothpaste was a constant struggle as it was frequently out of stock, and first time we did get it, it was dry. The air conditioning in the room was not working. The room's carpet was not properly cleaned. Some of the staff were unfriendly. There were frequent power outages during the day and night. When the electricity came back on, the room lights would turn on, forcing us to wake up to turn them off. Surprisingly, the hotel didn't have a generator like other hotels. TV channels would go off for couple hours, twice a day. The restaurant doubled as a smoking area, leaving non-smokers with no choice but to sit outside on uncomfortable bar chairs. Even if there were available tables outside, we needed special permission, and the waiter would continually remind us of their "kindness" in allowing us to sit there. Coffee during breakfast would mysteriously disappear with the explanation of being "out of stock," catching us by surprise with no prior notice. The only redeeming quality was the view!"

"I typically try to find pros and cons to write proper reviews. For our stay at Le Royal hotel Dbayeh-Lebanon, along with my husband for our honeymoon, I simply failed to find ANY hiccup! Service, cleanliness, location, professionalism, friendliness, welcome, value for money, view, room, amenities, you name it!! Let alone the romantic touch and additions we were surprised to see as soon as we stepped into our room! Can’t thank le Royal management and staff enough for the amazing and memorable honeymoon experience they secured we cherish for years to come! EPIC, ICONIC, MARVELOUS, and still unable to express enough!! Couldn’t have dreamt of more for such a special occasion! My husband and I sincerely thank you!! Keep up the AMAZING job you do! Tucked away on side street cul de sac so quiet , all you gotta do is walk a few steps and you’re in midst of all the great areas to explore. No noise since the hotel is tucked away . I just liked how I can walk out and bam, I’m where I wanna be. I enjoyed the breakfast, quite calm peaceful and good. Didn’t try restaurant other than breakfast though but I’m sure is good. Room quiet and clean. I had low floor because don’t like elevators. Slept well, think this is ideal location"

"Spent a night in the hotel after a delicious dinner at the summer Edition Parilla restaurant on the roof of the hotel near the pool. Staff was friendly specially the concierge who speaks French very well and knows how to welcome the guest of the hotel. Room needs some renovation a bit old but for the price, it is fair. Bathroom are clean. And had a partial sea view. Avoid first or second floor rooms if you like calm. Location is also a good point and the view from the roof is manificiant. "

"The Gefinor Rotana Hotel is located in a beautiful district of Beirut and is also close to the most important areas of the capital. I personally call the Gefinor Rotana Hotel my Middle East‘s: “Home-Away-from-Home”. There are many, many reasons for this positive accolade. Such as: On each stay the warm greeting of each hotel employee is always given to me. From the hotels doorman to the full Front Desk Reception Team, there is always a warm and kind greeting. On each stay the management team tries to provide me with a room upgrade to a Sea View Suite. And each time I use the Olive Garden Restaurant of the Moodz Lounge I hear from the staff: “Welcome back Mr. Webber”. The rooms at the Gefinor Rotana are large and clean. And no matter what meal you enjoy at the hotel each is simply fantastic and flavorsome. They have just started to have an automatic: “Turn Down Service”. I the past you needed to call housekeeping. Just another positive point in maintaining their five star service to exceed ones expectations. Also, the Gefinor Rotana is, in my humble opinion, The Best Five Star Hotel in all of Beirut. So, trust me, if you want to enjoy the best five-star hotel in Beirut, you must book a room at the Gefinor Rotana in the Hamarah District of Beirut, trust me you will not be sorry."
