Terrible customer service in the pub. We went to have lunch in the pub this Wednesday. We ordered lunch special with beer, however one middle aged male staff was very rude to us and said "You just want cheap food, don't come back". We had a few times dining experience before in this pub and they were all nice. However this time, the middle aged man was so rude that I replied to him "You are so rude to customers, we are not coming back". Bad dining experience! No more going back!

The room was spacious and clean, not to mention the great pricing point compared to other hotel rooms around. Easy access to public transport and many shops surrounding the motel. Also convenient for a meal or drink downstairs is a bonus. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Booked this at very short notice, because we needed a clean, reasonably priced bed for a night earlier than our airbnb could accommodate - not an easy thing to find around NYE in Sydney when even hellholes get sold for 5star prices... Captain Cook Hotel exceeded our expectations - the Biergarden is lovely, the live musician was really good and the food very tasty. The rooms are recently refurbed, basic, clean. Maybe not suitable for light/ early sleepers, as it is a pub after all running til 10pm and depending on the location of your room, the exterior aircon units can be noisy, but this didn't bother us and we would definitely return.

Had to clean bathroom and shower because it was a bit mouldy but staff was very friendly and looked after us well. Food was also great with a good variety, rooms a bit small but all come with an enquire, great price and value for money.

Stayed only one night . Easy book in great food and beer was cold. Have stayed a few times here and will be back . Friendly staff very helpfull highly recommended. Close to lots of food outlets and other shops. Close to airport golf course. We stayed to go the golf

Awsome staff, attentive service, great food (hot on arrival). Enjoyed my evening of pints followed by a burger and chips to top it off. Wish I had found this place when I arrived not 2 days before I fly home. 18 beers on tap, most major liquor brands you want, would be back if I didn't live across the world.
