Maybe because the rainy season in March is the off-season, only our family stayed in the entire hotel for the first two days. It felt like it was too luxurious for so many employees to only serve the three of us! Every employee here is very kind and friendly. Unexpectedly, every one of them is good at singing and dancing. It really feels like a VIP! 200 meters southeast of the lobby is a large coral group (the reason why I chose this hotel before was that its own coral group is beautiful). It is indeed several blocks of coral than the InterContinental Hotel on the main island! Personally, I feel that the corals here are second only to the Maldives. What is surprising is the temperature of the sea water. It does feel over 30 degrees (later confirmed by the landlady). It is completely like a hot spring bath. In addition, the sea water is crystal clear and makes snorkeling easy. It feels like swimming in a natural infinity hot spring bathtub. Personally, I feel that the density of nemo in the coral group determines the grade of the coral group (I always feel that nemo has higher requirements for water quality and water pattern conditions, and it is not visible in the seas of many tropical countries). (to), and the density of nemo families in the coral colonies here is quite high. I remember that the largest nemo family actually had about 20 individuals. Highly recommended, your trip will definitely be worthwhile! One thing to note: There is no air conditioning anywhere in the hotel. The fan room will definitely not be hot at night, but it will be a little hot in the room when the sun comes out during the day (but it should not stay in the room most of the time during the day).

Coconut Beach Resort has it all - a beautiful beach with access to reef snorkelling, fantastic food and a welcome from staff that makes you feel at home right away. What sets this resort apart from all the others is the personal attention from the owner and her hand picked team.

We kinda of enjoyed our stay at Coconut beach, due to the poor weather. Not sure I would ever go back to Fiji in the wet season. However, The highlight was their food, which was excellent, especially the dinners. We also thought their diving program run by Fostyn and Mike was quite good, as they were very accommodating compared to Blue Lagoons dive shop. They offered kayaks and paddle boards as well and the staff were all very friendly We found the rooms comfortable but were surprised w the lack of AC, especially considering how hot it can get there. We enjoyed snorkelling on the reef out front which was excellent We were provided a beach view burre #8 but for some reason they have plants right in front of the view of the beach that blocks the view. Outdoor bathroom w shower was nice but again very hot w/o AC which was provided at Oarsmen Bay.

When booking online, sometimes you can never be sure if you've chosen the best place for your trip. Let me assure you, if you choose Coconut Beach Resort, you will have an outstanding experience. First, the CBR team is incredible -- kind and generous of spirit. The resort beach is a snorkeler's paradise, with a coral reef right off the beach. The Bure's are clean, modern (love the luxe outdoor bathrooms), and the quality of the food was better than I've ever experienced at an all-inclusive. CBR has two highly skilled diving instructors that exclusively work with the resort guests, so it was extra convenient for our group. I'm going back (is next month too soon?).

Coconut Beach was unlike any experience I have ever had before. The staff there (Phillip, Betta, Massey, Apy, Josh, Sulu, Vata, Ben...too many to mention, honestly), they were ALL incredible. They will forever live in my hearts. The rooms were perfect; only an iguana here and there, NO BUGS at all, which seemed crazy to me since the idyllic showers and bathrooms were indoor/outdoor. Every morning, Casa was there to instruct yoga on the beach which was a spectacular way to start the day. There was such a place of calm there; everyone genuinely seems to enjoy their jobs and people. I got my Open water dives done with Faustine and she was AMAZING. She made me feel super safe and really stressed the importance of safety. She and Mike clearly love diving and it shows in the dives. Their passion makes you excited! The grounds were beautiful. The drinks were delicious. The food, was outstanding! Service was impeccable. I would give Coconut Beach Resort a 15/10 if I could. I found joy there. I will always be grateful for that. Vinadoo Riki, much love to you all.

Staying at this resort felt like one of those "pinch me" moments in our lives. There is absolutely nothing not to love - the setting, the rooms, the activities, the staff, the entertainment and the food. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt welcomed from the second we set foot on the island. The scuba-diving is incredible - a fully PADI accredited centre - my daughter at the beginning of her diving journey was taken out by the incredible Faustine who truly is a treasure of knowledge, patience and experience. The snorkelling is incredible - either off the beach or to various locations close by - a must is the fish-feeding in Blue Lagoon. We walked directly out from our beachfront villa to hammocks in an idealic setting then on to the beach for a swim. Our evenings were filled with music, singing, chatting to the other guests and even a kava ceremony. A special thank you to Sheung, Vata, Philip and all the staff for making our stay incredibly special, we were sad to leave but look forward to returning.

If you are reading this review you may be looking for a place to stay in Fiji – I fully recommend that you stop your search now and book a bure at Coconut Beach resort. My wife and I had a wonderful 7-night stay and were made to feel part of the family, both by the staff and the community of fellow guests. Lots of joy, music, beach walks, superb snorkeling, wonderful food, romantic dinner on the beach, sunrises, sunsets, the Milky Way at night, and a very comfortable room to rest. But most of all the friendly staff – particular thanks to Vata, Masi, Api, and Ann. We had a superb vacation. Also full credit to the owners as such wonderful care and hospitality starts at the top.

Where do I start??!!! This place is simply incredible!! So first of all I booked a really (very) nice hotel resort on the mainland for me and my wife. But then I worried I wouldn't get the Fiji experience we were looking for. So then I found Coconut Beach Resort (CBR) - and I am so so glad I did and that we switched to going to CBR. My dealings initially were through Sheung (who jointly owns CBR) with Alex. Sheung was helpful at every single stage and even organised our helicopter transfer with Island Hoppers which was so easy and such a great experience too. When we arrived by helicopter onto the beach at CBR we were greeted by lots of staff welcoming us with singing and smiles. Our bags were taken to our room. We were checked in so personally with a coconut drink in our hands. Then taken to our bungalow - which was amazing. There were only 8 other guests on the island with us. I highly recommend the helicopter as it's only a 30 minute transfer and is an amazing experience. The food was amazing - with incredible views from where we sat a few feet from the beach. Staff sing at every meal. The coconut lined tree soft sand beach is wonderful and the gentle sea was like a bath. The gardens are immaculate. Whilst there I took the opportunity to do some scuba diving as CBR has its own PADI dive centre which is exclusively for the handful of guests. This is a real luxury! So the dives are super personal with either a couple of other guests or just with the dive guide and they are all within around 10 minutes from CBR by boat from the beach. The diving here is incredible with great reefs, fantastic marine life, and lots of sharks. The dive equipment was really high quality (Apeks regulators, Suunto dive computers, great BCD's) and the dive masters, a married couple called Mike and Faustine, were incredible. They were super knowledgeable, helpful, happy to do whatever gives you the best experience - and they helped me back into diving after I'd had a break from it. Mike and Faustine were super sociable and we had fun with them and will miss them, but hope to dive with them when we are back. Finally, the thing that makes this place is the staff. They are absolutely AMAZING. So caring, kind, lovely and beautiful people. Always happy, always with a smile and sense of fun. They entertained us with so many things (crab races, coconut tree climbing, bracelet making, visits to sea caves, visits to a local school on a neighbouring island - a great experience!!!). Anything we wanted they organised. We will miss them so much, (Betta, Terri, Manu, Api, Vata, Abu, Phillip, Mike, Faustine, Alex, and so many others). This is truly a boutique special experience. We loved our 5 days and are sad to have left but we will be back!!!! Do yourself a favour and go to this place if you are serious about experiencing Fiji at its best. Thank you so much Coconut Beach Resort.

The best snorkeling in the yasawa islands! Beautiful welcome from the staff of Coconut Island resort, amazing food, catering to everyone’s needs including a food allergy. Delicious cocktails as well! Accomodation was spot on including a well maintained outdoor shower. Activities everyday to participate in. My kids have left with the best memories of making jewellery, guided snorkelling, and friendly staff. Do yourself a favour and book a stay here!
