Nice property with great facilities. Rooms are clean and well appointed and common areas are beautifully designed and maintained. I love the natural surroundings and the fact that a lot of thought was given to the grounds, with lots of trees growing around the property. The property could do a better job with the breakfast buffet offering, as the food is hit and miss. The surrounding area is gorgeous and so are the grounds, but they have a problem with sand flies called Jejenes in Honduras, which makes the beach a bit of a challenge. The best part of this hotel is probably the most mismanaged, the Restaurant by the beach: Imagined going to a beach resort where you cannot have neither breakfast or dinner in the beach restaurant! The beach restaurant, which is absolutely beautiful only serves lunch; what a missed opportunity. The property also has missed a great opportunity with bird-watchers (guilty as charged, here) since there is a trail with tons and tons of birds in the property, which is used for dumping natural garden clippings. The trail ends at a secluded beach that is both beautiful and dirty, again, a missed opportunity. The food depar**ent has some challenges as well, they could do better. Would I recommend this place to others or go back? Absolutely yes, to both.
