It was not apparent that this was a private type of rental so no front desk to help with check in issues which were many. several calls had to be made to figure out exactly how to check in. When we finally were able to get into the apartment there was a strong mildewy odor particularly in the bathroom and bedroom closet.

I had a problem with the entry code which was remedied by an onsite employee thankfully, could have been a problem since the Sonder chat was clueless. Great location above Whole Foods. The unit had minimal cooking utensils/pans/etc which made cooking challenging. They should really stock the kitchen better if they claim this is a feature. Also, stock proper coffee filters, not a lot to ask. Otherwise it was great, comfortable, clean, quiet.

Excellent location in Tempe, Phoenix. Right above Whole Foods. Walkable to lots of coffee and dining out options. Large one bedroom, one bath, full kitchen. Large bathroom with plenty of towels. Access to shared community space on the 8th floor with seating, pool table etc. also pool (not heated and we were there in January so did not use) would be lovely when the weather warms up. Nice fitness area. Plenty of towels in the unit. Only one downside was that our unit happened to look directly on to a parking lot. Comfortable queen bed. Spacious kitchen. Excellent communication with check in and check out process.

Cons: the bed was so hard we had to use the extra comforter as a mattress topper so we could sleep. The pillows were so thin the two of us used all 6 in search of reasonable support, to no avail. The bathroom floor was slippery when dry! We had to catch ourselves on the vanity to prevent falling. Several outlets didn’t work and one looked like it had a fire recently. There was a chipped plate on the counter when we got there I’m not sure why? We tried to shorted the reservation after the first night due to the insanely hard bed but were told we would have to pay for the whole reservation anyway. The only positive about the place was the location, Whole Foods downstairs and easily walkable to the good stuff in Tempe.

This is an apartment not a hotel room. The check in process was long and tedious. If you have questions they will be answered by their corporate call center. Never spoke to a human working on-site. Lighting in the apartment was horrible. Fold out bed dirty. They say you have pool access, but couldn't get in. No cable, you have to use your phone or iPad to connect to the TV. We wanted a place to relax after a long day and this was not it. Will not be using Sonder every again.

Perfect space for two people and to have family for dinner and to spend time together. Whole Foods was just downstairs and tons of restaurants on Mill. It was a bit of a hassle to have two key fobs and not be able to go anywhere without having one person available with them- might be problematic if your group isn’t always together but the trade off of a secure building

First time using Sonder, at first it was a little difficult to figure out how to find our room, but once you get the fobs all was great. Room was clean and nicely laid out. We had an issue with the couch, it was broken. But the service was EXCELLENT! Contacted Sonder and within hours we were set up in a new room. Our family was very impressed with your service. Thank you for making our Christmas vacation to see our military son a perfect trip.
