We stayed here for a week to be near the hospital. The staff was very nice but the hotel itself was not great. Very slow elevators and one was out of order our entire stay. Dirty hall carpets including a dead roach there for days. Crumbs and dirt on tile floors in and around bar/atrium. I never saw anyone vacuum or sweep our entire stay. The hotel was very dark. Very low lighting in halls and atrium. Rooms very dark and low lighting. Housekeeping was terrible. We asked to get our bedsheets changed after several days and all they did was make the beds with the same dirty sheets. They never put the duvet inside the duvet cover, was just laid on top. The bathroom was so tiny we had to stand to the side of the toilet to close the door. Only one sink. Same in all rooms we were told. Leak in our shower and mold and rust on the door. The heater was not working and engineering came 3 times and it was never fixed. Either freezing cold or very warm in both rooms. Happy hour had complimentary wine and some liquors but they were out of white wine and had limited choices after our first night. The breakfast bar was not bad. Nice made to order omelet bar. Overall, the hotel is very dark and outdated and needs a major update. Not at all what we are accustomed to at Embassy Suites.

The one thing we request are spray bottles in the gym with disinfectant to wipe down the equipment after usage.
The water dispenser in the gym was out of water at 10am.
The timing on the elevators could be a little faster.
I ordered a margarita flatbread pizza and salad it was delicious.
The breakfast was also tasty but for nondairy individuals' creamer not half and half should also be available.
Overall stay was very good. I will make it my hotel for future visits.

Nice property with great highway access and an amazing staff. For the overall area, not sure about the $10 per day parking fee makes sense.

Checked into room, immediately noticed ac was not working. Asked to be switched. They said an engineer would come. Never did after an hour. Asked to be switched. They switched me to another room that the ac didn’t work. I told them about it, was told they could not compensate because I booked with Travelocity, but reminder, I paid at hotel. Called Travelocity, they said they called the front desk and assured me I would get the 1st night written offf. The next day, I asked to be switched again, they said it’s the whole hotel and nothing he could do. I said that is fine as long as I’m compensated. He said no problem. I just got the bill, paid full price for both nights.

Beautiful property with great breakfast and snack hour. However, the heat in my room was broken and not fixed after several reports to the front desk. The gym area also had no heat. I reserved a room with a balcony but didn’t get one even after questioning my reservation.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. If we come back to Richmond, we will stay there again.
