This hotel was really nice, I stayed twice during my trip to Albania and Macedonia. The first stay I had a mountain view and on the second I looked directly onto the Mosque ! Both rooms were nice and clean, large and had everything I could need. Breakfast had a good selection of buffet and they cooked fresh eggs and coffee. Reception staff were helpful with taxis on both stays. Recommended and I would come back if I return to Tirana.

This is a good option for a centrally based hotel. It's described as 4 star but it's more like a UK 3 star hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. Everything you need. The breakfast buffet options weren't as extensive as some hotel offerings but it provided hot and cold dishes and service was good. The hotel is on a busy junction so there's is a lot of traffic noise which seems constant but that's to be expected in the centre of the city. The view of the mosque oppostite is beautiful and the roof top bar is a lovely place to relax. For value for money and walking distance to the main square etc it's a safe bet.

From even before I arrived at the hotel the staff on the front desk were very helpful with arranging transfer to and from the airport. The hotel is in a great location in Tirana and it was possible to walk most places. My room was beautiful and comfortable. The shower was hot. Breakfast every morning was delicious and the kitchen and restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. I also enjoyed visiting the rooftop bar which had a great view of the city.
My only problem was that I am a light sleeper. I was glad I brought some ear plugs as the sound of the city traffic continued throughout most of the night, and the 0430 am call to prayer from the mosque across the road was also very loud. I feel the hotel should provide earplugs in the rooms to guests as standard.
But I really enjoyed my stay at MonarC hotel and would very happily stay here again.

Lovely small hotel, handy for all attractions and for centre. 20-30 mins transfer from airport - booked via hotel for 20 euros.
Lovely helpful and friendly staff, decent breakfast as well. Was very impressed and loved Tirana which as a great city break for a few days.

A quite nice hotel, but
- the standard room was not 35 m2 as it said at ********** but half the size
- the bed was uncomfortable so my back hurt
- the English TV-channels were few
- the desk was full of marks
- the breakfast could have been better with more options
- the shutters were closed so there was no view

This hotel is in a perfect location. Nearly all of Tirana is in walkable distance from this central hotel. The staff are lovely and eager to please. The rooftop bar is a perfect place to unwind in the evening either before or after heading out into the city. The rooms are clean and comfy.
My only 3 complaints were that 1. It is situated on a cross road of 2 main roads and so it is very noisy throughout the night. The windows did nothing to reduce the noise. Not the hotel's fault, but just be prepared for traffic noise. Then 2. We booked a superior double room that had a hot-tub type bath, this did not work. But that's minor. Finally, 3. They do have a restaurant at the hotel that does a wonderful breakfast, but never seemed open at the times it said it was open for lunch or dinner. The few times we were at the hotel at these times and went to look, the lights were off and no-one was there. We could be wrong but that is how it appeared.
Otherwise, fantastic hotel! Would recommend and would more than happily stay there again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was that none of the channels on the TV I could watch. They were all locked and the person at the front counter said some of them I had to pay for. If I had to pay for all the channel's. I don't know why I would have to pay for every single one. Especially at a 4 star hotel. I wanted to watch Real Madrid the night while I was there but could not access the channel. One sports channel should be included and not have to be paid for.

Very central
It is a very nice and small hotel in centrum. Nice and friendly personal.
The traffic around the hotel is intensiv. The big mosque is close to the hotel so you hear the call to prayer very loud.
