Treschers Schwarzwald Hotel

Excellent property. Courteous Helpful Staff. Mr Samy sent Car to Rail st. for pick up. We had Superior Room Lake Facing with Balcony& Terrace. All the Luxurious amenities in Room. Michel helped us and guided well. Our Veg Food was sumptuous

We stayed for two nights for our anniversary and loved every minute. Perfect views and location on the lake. Our lake view room was renovated and spacious. The sauna and pool area was a huge surprise, the online reviews and photos don’t do justice. It’s huge and modern, a perfect way to relax. The infinity pool that looks over the lake is wonderful with good jets as well. We booked the half board and loved the dinner foods, very authentic German and a nice surprise each evening. Our favorite part is that we were the only Americans there, it was a truly authentic German excursion.

This is a lovely hotel in the picturesque town of Titisee. The hotel is adjacent to, and overlooks, Lake Titisee. The hotel is postcard pretty, and the rooms were nice and clean. We had three rooms, and the hotel upgraded two of the rooms so that all of us would be next to each other, which was a nice touch. The location is fabulous. Walk out the door and you're in the heart of old Titisee. This is mostly tourist shops and restaurants, but there is also an apotheke (pharmacy), which is helpful if you need to convert your American CDC vaccination card to an EU digital vaccine cert. (Also, make sure to download the Luca app on your smartphone before travelling to the Black Forest.) Our room plan included breakfast and dinner. Breakfast buffets were great, and one of the set dinners was in the top 10 meals that I've ever had. Dinner was a buffet one evening, and that was also extravagant. This is more of a German hotel for Germans, and I mean that in a good way. Although the key hotel staff speak English, and can provide English menus as well, a majority of guests seem to be German. Accordingly, I think that this hotel provides a more authentically German experience than some other Black Forest resorts might. One other nice touch: they hotel gave me a present on my birthday. I'd normally balance the superlatives with a few downsides, but there weren't really many. The pool could have been a little warmer. I wished that it was snowing, not raining, when we were there, but that's obviously not the hotel's fault. All in all, this was a fabulous place to stay, and I plan to come back again both in the winter and in other seasons.

My husband and I currently visiting the Schwarzwald as we were passing the Hotel we seen it says Hotel, Restaurant and Bar so we thought it would be lovely to go in for a nice drink . On arrival in an nearly empty Bar we were greeted by the barman who then ask us if we were guest to what we replied no and that we just wanted to have a nice drink , and I ask was that ok , the reply I got was “geht geht geht “ I Never felt so unwelcome , the reply I should have received should have been “ of course that is no problem at all please take a seat . I work in Hospitality myself and could not believe the reply I got . We made very quick the decision to leave again due to the reply we got . I certainly will never step into this hotel again even as a guest . We then visited another lovely hotel and were made so so welcome , think some of the staff needs a bit more training in customer care

Spent the last week with my children (+ granddaughter of 6 years old) in this hotel with fantastic location on the TitiSee. The staff is very attentive and friendly and we enjoyed the wellness facilities and especially the (outdoor) pool. I thought the restaurant was overpriced, especially if you're with a group of 5/6 people. The rooms were spacious and very clean. However, I do have a few comments about these rooms: - It's a shame that two of the three rooms only had a bath, which you had to climb into to shower. My bathtub didn't have a rubber bath mat and I had to hold on tight so as not to slip, which can lead to dangerous situations at my age (75). I just put a towel in it so I couldn't slide. - Furthermore, I think one bottle of water for those days is very scanty ... As a welcome, there was also no bowl of fruit, pralines or biscuits. Also a coffee or tea machine was absent. Things that you can expect from a 4 star hotel, at least that's how I know it in other similar hotels. - There was no pen and writing paper or notepad with the hotel's name. I also find it strange that in the pool area (also outside!) there are exactly the same towels as in the rooms. In addition, it is difficult for people with limited mobility to reach the pool from the main building (as an example those high stairs that you have to climb first). And there is not always someone to help. They should have thought of that ... But all in all we had a nice week, enjoyed the comfort and ambiance and were really lucky with the beautiful autumn weather.

We stayed for a vacation in Tresecher's hotel six nights 14-20 September. We had a lovely room on second floor in the annex building, overlooking the beautiful lake. Rooms are large and have a terrace, the location is perfect for travelling in the black forest either on foot or by car. Very convenient parking in front of the hotel, and the small but lively town is right outside the main door, but is catering to travelers. Breakfast at Trescher's has any type of food one may wish to start the day with, and the excellent restaurant at the hotel provides a great German food experience. It is more a hotel for couples or singles, while families are usually with somewhat older children. During our stay there were hardly any babies or kids under 12-13 years. It seems to be a old style German hotel and it fit exactly what we were looking for coming from our home in noisy Tel Aviv. The hotel also has a SPA that is mostly open - with great warm water pools and saunas - just a perfect
