Richmond Hotel Tokyo Mejiro Reviews

The best hotel we've stayed in Japan so far. It is close to Mejiro train station. It's not a busy area, so the trains are not packed, unlike in tokyo or akihabara. The breakfast buffet is very good. Lots of choices eventhough it is the same everyday. There's a welcome drink that we forgot to use. Be sure to use it straight away.

This hotel is always my first choice to stay in Japan trip. Good location , just 3 mins walk from JR station. The hotel staffa are really nice and helpful to settle the problem.

Very good! Room was very spacious and good amenities. Staff were very kind and room although was not in the city centre, was super close to the JR Yamanote line.

All the staff are very friendly. I felt comfortable starting from check-in. Haha, I came alone and the room was spacious enough. The soundproofing seems to be good too. That small sofa is very comfortable haha. And the location is really good, it's almost right in front of the subway station. I visited Ikebukuro, Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku and Tokyo, and almost all took about 30 minutes. It's right in the center so it's nice to go around. Mejiro Station is on the JR line, so it's really easy to get to the airport by taking the Skyline. Even though I woke up a little late when leaving the country, I barely missed my flight and got on board thanks to the station being directly connected. In terms of cleanliness, it's not super clean, but it's neat and I think it's good for the price. Amenities are of course provided, and it was nice that they provided all the usual items such as toothbrushes, cotton pads, shower towels, cotton swabs, etc. The meal was so-so... I didn't necessarily request breakfast, but there are plenty of delicious options nearby, so I think it would be better to eat it at a restaurant.

The hotel front desk staff were very patient in explaining the hotel facilities to us.

The window in the room I was assigned could barely open. It was the same problem last time.

There are charging cables and bathroom drying, and the service is good.

The location is good and friendly, but I don't really recommend the breakfast..! It's convenient to travel as there are many convenience stores and places nearby where you can get quick fixes.

The main reason is that the transportation is convenient. You can reach the Yamanote Line in 3 minutes after walking out of the hotel. It is quiet yet prosperous. It is a very comfortable stay. In terms of hygiene, it is okay. Anyway, I am very satisfied👍🏻
