City Gardens Motel

The staff were friendly and inviting, the room was clean and tidy. There was plenty of tea making facilities available. There was plenty of , off road car parking available. I spent two nights there . It was within walking distance of the town centre.

I was unfortunately disappointed with my recent stay at this motel. There was no lock on my window. It was noisy, from both traffic and neighbouring rooms. I had a shower in the evening and there was zero hot water. I wouldn't stay here again.

Lovely clean room, beds very comfortable, owners very friendly and helpful, only downside, customers do not park in the designated area for their rooms, taking othes parking spots. But apart from that a lovely place.

Absolute value for money. The property is very close to A1 and Coles, and the property managers were super-friendly, and supportive. The facilities were good, if you keep in mind that this is a motel, and not a five-star hotel. I'd definitely stay here again, if I'm travelling to Gippsland.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The slope of the shower floor was dangerous even when using the non slip mat and the pipes made loud hammering and squealing noizes which disturbed the next-door occupants

This was surprisingly very tidy and clean for a budget motel. It also smelled very nice, which is not always the case with older motels. I'd definitely recommend this motel as an excellent value option for an overnight stay.

Just a perfect old-style motel. Everything worked. The room was comfortable, ditto shower and toilet. I slept exceedingly well. No Maintenance issues. Payment was arranged in advance. Just a good old-fashioned key to receive and return after a comfortable stay.

A refreshing change to find a motel room that is super clean and every detail taken care of. No build up of dirt on the floor edges here. Even better after checking out, 30 mins later I returned to the room for a jacket I’d left behind and the bed had been *****ped (one night stay and noone would have known if the bottom sheet was unchanged). Researchers in America found hotel sheets were unchanged between patrons like 70% of the time, and more that once I’ve experienced this (crumbs in the bed or smelly sheets). The room was warm, spacious and clean, every detail taken care of, and the sheets are freshly laundered. Internet iffy, but there is a smart tv.
