Ibis Troyes Centre

Good breakfast; parking has to be paid for. Quite a bit of noise in the street outside at times - ask for a quiet room. Staff were courteous. A box of tissues and a bottle of water in the room would have been nice.

Overnight flight to cdg headed to the south of France. This was a great 1 nt stop with car 2-2.5hr drive from cdg. Just barely outside city center(＜5min walk). This was the earliest checkin time I could find at 12(flight landing at 9a). Free parking all along the streets around. No need to pay for the underground parking lot. It’s a small city centre & worth checking out before you leave. Staff speaks English. Great lobby with lots of seating & very active including the bar at night.the ac/heat control seems to be for your room only & the windows DO open completely & is quiet. There was a 2 chair & table seating at the end of our hall of our room floor.GREAT blackout curtains puts the room in total darkness (for overnight flight nap) 2€ cafe available in the lobby(&snack food). The hair dryer is NOT attached.

First stop from the Channel Tunnel on a 4 week drive around France and Spain. Quite difficult to locate even with satnav but well located for a stroll into the city centre. Parking on the street is a bit tight but didnt need to use the under ground car park. We had a superior double room which was spotlessy clean, tidy, quiet and large. The bed was very comfortable and the whole hotel smelled very nice. The staff were friendly and spoke English. We didnt have breakfast. We would stay here again.

The hotel itself is fine, but as Ibis welcome dogs this can cause problems. Our room was visually clean, but had a horribly strong dog smell. The staff were quick to give a different room, which we were pleased about. The car park is 12 euros, but on Sunday - until Monday morning the very close public car park is free

This is a cheap hotel and as such we didn’t expect anything more than it being comfortable and clean. We found the staff very helpful, and the room, while very small, was enough for three of us for the night. I’m not a fan of bathrooms which are simply an oversized cupboard in a room - no sound insulation - but fir the money it was fine and a good stopping off point as we headed from the UK towards the South of France. Parking was easy, on the street by the cinema - no issues. And Troyes is a lovely little town to investigate!

+30 degrees outside and the air conditioning in the room didn’t work, the solution offered by the hotel was to open the window and if we didn’t like it, tough, as we’d paid in advance so we just had to accept getting no sleep in a sauna of a bedroom. Terrible customer service and I definitely don’t recommend staying here if it’s warm outside.

We stayed for one night on our way south. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the historic centre with secure underground parking for €10 a night and also some free parking on the road. Friendly staff and a good range of food for breakfast including scrambled eggs and bacon, ham, cheeses, cakes, bread, cereals and fresh fruit.

Troyes is a lovely old world town with streets full of restaurants to suit all tastes. Because of it location and the fact that it has air conditioning means that the Ibis Troyes Centre is a great stop on our way south.

Stayed overnight on our way through France. Really impressed with the hotel; we received a warm and professional welcome and the free drink from the hotel bar was very nice. The room was clean and cool, my children really enjoyed the play area, and to top it off there was free parking right outside. A great start and I won't hesitate to go back the next time I'm driving across France!
