The Tulum resort was beautiful and updated. The buffet was average but The a la carte restaurants were exceptional. Service was wonderful and all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

The resort is fine for the value. The food was not great but there is always something available. Plan ahead for a la carte restaurants. No room service. Spa is basic only. Adjoining/partner resort has more options. The location is between Playa and Tulum so you are not really close to anything. The golf course is really nice. The beach is not swimmable in the immediate area due to coral/rocks.
Shops and ******s were fine. Big event area next to ****** was cool. Everyone one was nice and helpful. There was a little beach club between the adjoining resort but not sure it is worth the extra money. They did have some water activities there.
The room A/C and ceiling fan only worked when you were in the room so it wasn't great but did an adequate job for sleeping. Mostly handle your own luggage.
It's a fine, slightly older resort that has everything you need except close access to the cities. It is a pretty big resort but trolleys are constantly moving people around. Transportation was available but is scarce for nights in Tulum. Plan ahead.

It was a very nice property, quiet, clean and wonderful service. The sand beaches are wonderful but very limited places to swim as lots of rock! It would have been nice to have a drop in session early in our stay to present the amenities of the resort as we felt like we happened upon several opportunities we would have participated in and enjoyed earlier in our stay.

As a frequent travelled I felt it quite weird that you had to pay for the resort shows. In addition to that no vegan options and food was poorly marked and not flavourful at all. Found it very hard to have my dietary needs met without eating the same things over and over. I will never stay here again!

Our room wasnt ready, we had to wait 2h after arrival. Playground was taped and closed- big minus while you travel with kids. Only one bar with good drinks on entire property. Only couple dinner reservations per stay. Only one buffet for entire resort with no AC. There was supposed to be some taco/burger truck there were closed, only one was open with stale food and big lines. Beach and entry to it totally demaged/ not their fault but that information is hidden which is their fault. Also limited food in buffet, big lines for eggs or becon. Overall do not recommend.. many more better resorts in area for same price.

Very clean, staff friendly, although the hotel was recently reno climate does damage to the property like corrosion in showers and lifted off paint due to high humidity. Towels and room were clean every single day. If something was missing the staff was quick to react. Lots of food choices slightly lack of seasoning and diluted or over sweetened juices but overall we ate very well. Best resort for families with kids.

The good: the resort is gorgeous, there are great activities, lots of restaurants, the beach is immaculate.
The bad: the rooms are extremely limited in amenities. Lots of small things that add up to minor irritations. They don't provide ANY washcloths, lotions, etc. There is a dispenser for shampoo/conditioner/shower gel in the showers. But that's pretty much all they provide so you are washing your body with hand towels. It's not a huge deal, just weird. You can’t get anything like razors at the hotel lobby shop – which is CRAZY expense ($20 for a bag of chips, $30 for sunscreen) – you have to work down the road to a pharmacy so make sure you have what you need before you leave. Also, the paths that lead to the rooms, pools, and restaurants? They are narrow and you CONSTANTLY have to move off them because every ten seconds there are maintenance trucks, resort shuttles, and maintenance bicycles and mopeds driving around. You get one a certain amount of sit down ‘restaurant’ reservation per stay length but it’s very difficult to actually make the reservation – they are limited in the number of people they take per night. The buffet food is fine, not great, but it gets the job done. There are also a number of pool-side snack bars and walk-up restaurants that are pretty decent.
This is a good hotel, but it could be a great hotel with a few minor changes!

Property, Staff, and Rooms were great. The food was average but always available. The drink selection is quite poor and if you like liquor, I would recommend bringing your own.

Too big, yet only one main restaurant open in a busy season; the beach restaurant where we could have had lunch wasn’t open. It was always crowded, the staff overwhelmed and the food was the same. I feel overall it didn’t justify the price we paid.
