La Zebra Tulum, a Small Luxury Hotel
"The location is great. The parking lot is just opposite the hotel. The room is a 2-minute walk from the beach. The beach is wide and there are few tourists. I saw the most beautiful sunrise. The large balcony is surrounded by green plants and is very suitable for sunbathing. It is quieter than other hotels at night. The double shower can take a shower at the same time. The hotel thoughtfully prepared three large bottles of drinking purified water and a woven bag for going out... I like Tulum starting from the hotel."
Naala Tulum
"Room was nice and spacious. Bed was a bit too soft for me. Breakfast is basic and the same every day. When we came back from a trip in the afternoon, there were no towels left for the pool ?!"
Mi Amor Boutique Hotel-Adults Only
"You can hear the sound of waves all the way to your room, so you can feel the great outdoors. The only disappointing thing was that there was a charge for water in the room. Tap water was free, but I was grateful that bottled water was also free. Overall, I'm very satisfied because I can see the sea from my room. There were a lot of mosquitoes and I got bitten a lot, so I recommend bringing insect repellent spray."
Coco Unlimited
"The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very comfortable. The restaurant should improve in the speed of service, they are very slow to bring meals or breakfasts"
Nômade Temple Tulum
"This hotel has a really great vibe. The staff are very nice. They offer free yoga classes and bowl therapy. There's a seaside restaurant. Sitting by the sea with a cold drink and enjoying the breeze is so relaxing 😌. The only downside is that taxis are quite expensive in Tulum (you can't use Uber; it's monopolized by one company)."
Playa Esperanza Tulum
"Great beach. Good pool. Amazing view from hotel room."
Hotel Shibari - Restaurant & Cenote Club
"First of all the service was beyond bad, it’s as if the staff never communicated with eachother. Upon arrival, we got asked if we were celebrating anything, to which we said yes as it’s our fifth anniversary, and they said they would arrange a surprise for us the next day. We finished our stay without any surprise or acknowledgment as to what had happened, it was just forgotten. They would ask us every day if it was our first time at breakfast, ask about allergies and so on, which on your fifth day at the hotel makes it feel very impersonal. The hotel is also very restrictive in when you can use their amenities, which is laughable when they have no direct beach access. Their pool only opens 11am-6pm, their bikes (which are in horrible shape) can only be hired 9am-6pm…it felt like being at a school camp instead of an alleged 5-star hotel. You are stranded on a street with nothing to do, no signal outside of the hotel, no free beach access and a whopping $40 to get to the town center (which is a 15min drive away). To put the cherry on top, we got called to our room on our last night asking when we would like our bags collected for check-out, they said it was arranged…and it never was. We also never got asked if we had a nice stay upon leaving, nothing. They truly don’t seem to care. Honestly, save yourself the trouble."
Nahouse Jungle Lodges
Ahau Tulum
"A charming resort right by the beach. My room has the most amazing sunrise view. But do take note, it’s an eco-friendly resort, so there’s no phone, TV or minibar. Every request is done through WhatsApp. Its own restaurant has quite the menu to sate your appetite, though there are tons of eateries outside on the main street. The best place to relax and switch off from the world."

The Strabon Tulum
"A nice new hotel, secluded like many in Tulum. Good facilities, but a poor breakfast."
Little Gem Hotel Tulum la Veleta
"I really like this place. The staff are very friendly and attentive. There's parking right outside. Very convenient. I'll definitely come again."
Amaka Calma Tulum
"Great place! Location also."
Elements Tulum Boutique Hotel
"Good location all very clean Cheap good breakfast pay at hotel 7 dollars"
Tago Tulum by G Hotels
"Our stay at Tago Tulum was simply outstanding! The hotel itself is a paradise – the rooms look even better than in the photos, with spacious layouts, beautiful decor, and that perfect blend of luxury and Tulum’s bohemian style. The beachfront view and peaceful ambiance made it the ideal place to unwind. What really made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional service, especially from Victor. He took care of everything we needed, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and enjoyable. Victor’s warmth and attention to detail made us feel right at home – a true gem! Tago Tulum is a must for anyone visiting Tulum, and we can’t wait to return"
Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort
"The whole experience was excellent. The gentleman at the front Sebastian was very attentive on a daily basis. Would send us emails or text every day making sure everything was OK. Definitely would visit this location again. "
NABOA Hotel Tulum
"The room was spacious and well-designed. However, the hotel's location was inconvenient for getting around unless you had your own car."
Anat Tantric Boutique Hotel
"Stunning rooms! The place is bang on the middle of the jungle, so there are bugs and frogs etc, just be aware of that. Right next to a cenote! It’s on a motorway and you cannot really walk anywhere so you need a car or moped etc, as it is pretty far. Theee is a small jacuzzis and a sauna, which they try to charge a prohibitively high price for…. Considering it is the only amenity the hotel has this should be free. Bedsheets need an update. Have stains and rips. I still think it is an amazing place to stay especially for the price!"
Kan Hotel Tulum
"The hotel is beautiful, very jungle like feeling, peaceful and quiet. Love the little cenote. Would be nice if there was a variety of food. Only 1 restaurant, small menu, and it opens 8am so you can't get coffee/tea. The rooms dont have anything to make tea/coffee, So you'd need to head out, there's a nice French bakery 5mins walk away. The location is a little remote but with a,scooter or atv you can get to the beach or town in 15-20mins."
Maison Tulum
"Beautiful hotel!!! This hotel is soo beautiful. The owner takes so much time to keep it looking amazing. The owner would greet us and always check in which was really nice when we came in. The rooms are just simple and classic. Honestly one of the prettiest places I’ve ever seen. It’s like a jungle with all the hidden gems everywhere. The roof is really nice and always has a great breeze. I would recommend this to friends and family in a heart beat. There is a cafe/restaurant attached below the hotel which has amazing owner/staff and the food is insanely good! Good coffee and good food! Honestly so happy we didn’t book a resort style place. This was so much better!"
The Yellow Nest Tulum
Our Habitas Tulum - Adults Only
"To be honest, this hotel would be better than the Azulik next door if you didn’t like the original ecology so much."
Tropicalito Villa on the Beach
"Se had an amazing time. Staff was great. Thank you Luis for delicious breakfast every morning. Love to come back to see those amazing sunrises. You can walk to great restaurants and boutiques. Close to papaya playa and azulyk Location is also great"
Tuup Oceanfront
"Wow where do I start. Amazing, we loved everything about this place & I honestly can’t think of a negative. Location is great about 10 min walk to the noisy bit, supermarket about 3 min walk, we are right on the beautiful beach & we have a lovely fresh pool. Staff very friendly & the food was fresh & delicious. Our bungalow was in a jungle setting & through the palm trees you can see the turquoise sea. The prices were good for Tulum as there are some very expensive places to stay & eat out we noticed so this place is an all rounder. Not forgetting the roof with Dj & cocktails watching the sunset"
Ikal Tulum Hotel
"I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of sleeping so close to nature and having a treehouse. However, I wasn't aware the hotel was directly inside the national park. When we arrived, guards gave a difficult time to our driver to be able to drop us off, even though it is a 50 minute walk to the location. They expected us to pay daily park fees even though we weren't using the park. There was only one highly over priced restaurant at the site, no shops for food, and no hot water available. I was able to make a coffee in my first day, but the service desk staff told me one free coffee for my booking, not one for each day stayed. Given the cost of this hotel, it offers no services. It does have an enjoyable environment, but bring your own food and your own supplies. This was 1 of our 2 rentals and both had the same issues."
La Conchita Tulum
"Air conditionar does not work properly, we couldnt sleep well. The hotel has a good beach."
