Mi Amor Boutique Hotel-Adults Only ★★★★

📍 Carretera Tulum-Boca Paila km 1, Tulum

"You can hear the sound of waves all the way to your room, so you can feel the great outdoors. The only disappointing thing was that there was a charge for water in the room. Tap water was free, but I was grateful that bottled water was also free. Overall, I'm very satisfied because I can see the sea from my room. There were a lot of mosquitoes and I got bitten a lot, so I recommend bringing insect repellent spray."

📍 Av. Coba S/N, Tulum

Tuup Oceanfront Hotels in Tulum

Tuup Oceanfront

"I stayed in room 5, very comfortable bed and amenities. The place worked incredible for us for networking and being able to also connect with the natural side of Tulum in a conscious way without leaving aside the comforts."

Mezzanine Tulum, a Small Luxury Hotel Hotels in Tulum

Mezzanine Tulum, a Small Luxury Hotel

"Come to Mezzanine to disconnect. It is a little piece of heaven within walking distance of the Tulum archaeological site. The oceanfront rooms are a dream. The food is exquisite, the drinks are elevated, and everything is a visual delight. There are no TVs – trust me, it’s a good thing."

Tropicalito Villa on the Beach Hotels in Tulum

Tropicalito Villa on the Beach

"Great boutique hotel with charm! We stayed in the top unit with our own outside sitting tub on the patio. The property is hidden behind the strip of hotels, restaurants & shops right off of the beaches of Tulum. Walking distance to the National Park and public beach access. The property is situated on the rocky shore with spectacular ocean views. The decorum definitely has a funky vibe; rooms, common area and furniture - all good!"

Ikal Tulum Hotel Hotels in Tulum

Ikal Tulum Hotel

"I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of sleeping so close to nature and having a treehouse. However, I wasn't aware the hotel was directly inside the national park. When we arrived, guards gave a difficult time to our driver to be able to drop us off, even though it is a 50 minute walk to the location. They expected us to pay daily park fees even though we weren't using the park. There was only one highly over priced restaurant at the site, no shops for food, and no hot water available. I was able to make a coffee in my first day, but the service desk staff told me one free coffee for my booking, not one for each day stayed. Given the cost of this hotel, it offers no services. It does have an enjoyable environment, but bring your own food and your own supplies. This was 1 of our 2 rentals and both had the same issues."

La Zebra Tulum, a Small Luxury Hotel ★★★★
"The location is great. The parking lot is just opposite the hotel. The room is a 2-minute walk from the beach. The beach is wide and there are few tourists. I saw the most beautiful sunrise. The large balcony is surrounded by green plants and is very suitable for sunbathing. It is quieter than other hotels at night. The double shower can take a shower at the same time. The hotel thoughtfully prepared three large bottles of drinking purified water and a woven bag for going out... I like Tulum starting from the hotel."

"The environment was nice, but the hotel and taxi drivers colluded to rip off tourists. The normal fare from the hotel to the bus station should have been 100 pesos, but they charged me 250."

Kan Hotel Tulum ★★★
"The hotel is beautiful, very jungle like feeling, peaceful and quiet. Love the little cenote. Would be nice if there was a variety of food. Only 1 restaurant, small menu, and it opens 8am so you can't get coffee/tea. The rooms dont have anything to make tea/coffee, So you'd need to head out, there's a nice French bakery 5mins walk away. The location is a little remote but with a,scooter or atv you can get to the beach or town in 15-20mins."
