Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort
"Wonderful place.. top notch service… great food.. amazing hospitality and customer service"
Azulik
"Beautiful hotel!! Spent an amazing week in a villa with my husband and we will never forget it. Our room was leaking a bit with the rain. Overall a wonderful experience. The museum was beautiful and the other location was well worth the drive to visit if you have a car."
La Zebra Tulum, a Small Luxury Hotel
"The location is great. The parking lot is just opposite the hotel. The room is a 2-minute walk from the beach. The beach is wide and there are few tourists. I saw the most beautiful sunrise. The large balcony is surrounded by green plants and is very suitable for sunbathing. It is quieter than other hotels at night. The double shower can take a shower at the same time. The hotel thoughtfully prepared three large bottles of drinking purified water and a woven bag for going out... I like Tulum starting from the hotel."
Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya
"Incredible place, sophisticated architecture and exceptional service! We went with God's children and had a very pleasant time, they loved it! The only downside is the extra costs for food and drinks, which are quite high!"
VR Club Tulum Riviera
"A 4-star hotel that's only worth 3. Located in the middle of nowhere. The road to get there is riddled with potholes. There's only one restaurant serving mediocre buffets. No shops nearby. A car is essential. No parasols on the beach. The hotel is on the beach, which is the only positive point. The room was comfortable, but the bathroom was tiny for two people."
Moxy Tulum
"I like the area around the hotel, the room with balcony was perfect for me and all staff is very friendly. Regarding "culinary varieties", I was not satisfied completely, but it was fine for a 2-nights-stay. Gracias"
Ahau Tulum
"A charming resort right by the beach. My room has the most amazing sunrise view. But do take note, it’s an eco-friendly resort, so there’s no phone, TV or minibar. Every request is done through WhatsApp. Its own restaurant has quite the menu to sate your appetite, though there are tons of eateries outside on the main street. The best place to relax and switch off from the world."
BE Destination Tulum
"Good place and great food"
Our Habitas Tulum - Adults Only
"To be honest, this hotel would be better than the Azulik next door if you didn’t like the original ecology so much."

Wakax Hacienda - Cenote & Boutique Hotel
"This place was a gem, a nice retreat from touristy Tulum! Staff were very attentive and had lovely activities for us to do at the resort - loved the underground river tour. Food was outstanding! In general the we had the best experience and they made our honeymoon feel special. The only bad part was having to leave this place!"
Hotel Shibari - Restaurant & Cenote Club
"First of all the service was beyond bad, it’s as if the staff never communicated with eachother. Upon arrival, we got asked if we were celebrating anything, to which we said yes as it’s our fifth anniversary, and they said they would arrange a surprise for us the next day. We finished our stay without any surprise or acknowledgment as to what had happened, it was just forgotten. They would ask us every day if it was our first time at breakfast, ask about allergies and so on, which on your fifth day at the hotel makes it feel very impersonal. The hotel is also very restrictive in when you can use their amenities, which is laughable when they have no direct beach access. Their pool only opens 11am-6pm, their bikes (which are in horrible shape) can only be hired 9am-6pm…it felt like being at a school camp instead of an alleged 5-star hotel. You are stranded on a street with nothing to do, no signal outside of the hotel, no free beach access and a whopping $40 to get to the town center (which is a 15min drive away). To put the cherry on top, we got called to our room on our last night asking when we would like our bags collected for check-out, they said it was arranged…and it never was. We also never got asked if we had a nice stay upon leaving, nothing. They truly don’t seem to care. Honestly, save yourself the trouble."
Casa Malca
"Super service, but the hotel is long-standing needs renovation, everything is a bit tired."
Tago Tulum by G Hotels
"Very nice hotel. A real 5 star hotel and the staff can not do enough. I would gladly come back. Only downside the algae on the beach but this is the case throughout the beach of Tulum"
Cabanas Tulum- Beach Hotel & Spa
"Simply beautiful place."
Kanan Tulum Hotel & Spa Adults Only Playground
Nômade Temple Tulum
"This hotel has a really great vibe. The staff are very nice. They offer free yoga classes and bowl therapy. There's a seaside restaurant. Sitting by the sea with a cold drink and enjoying the breeze is so relaxing 😌. The only downside is that taxis are quite expensive in Tulum (you can't use Uber; it's monopolized by one company)."
Bahia Principe Explore Tulum - All Inclusive
"Great hotel on the beach good facilities many activities to do great pool area nice large spacious rooms excellent all inclusive"
The Beach Tulum Hotel
Villa Pescadores Tulum by Ahau Collection
"Bungalow directly on the beach, tastefully furnished, very welcoming and clean. Massimo received us and was really kind, friendly and professional, with advice, suggestions and a welcome cocktail. Excellent breakfast and also the dishes we tasted for lunch were exquisite! Super ceviche! Massage with Perla highly recommended! The only two things that could be improved: the location of the massage and the shower water not always hot."
Casa Gitano
Hotelito Azul
"It’s a shame that such a beautiful property with gorgeous beach is so purely run! Read other bad reviews re service, didn’t think it really could be a 1 star bad. Oh yes, it totally was! 1. To my surprise, the staff didn’t speak English. With the exception of a front desk employee. 2. We could not even order a meal! Hotel was very slow, no guests and still we had to wait on average 45 min. One night for 1.5 hours for a simple meal for 2. They encouraged to order online since there were no waiters to be found. But then no one replied to online orders either. Saw a guy from the kitchen cleaning sea weeds on the beach around lunch time, as a result, lunch order wasn’t placed. And it goes on and on. Found much better places outside the hotel to eat with very good service (ex. El Tabano 0.2 miles away). 3. Everything is overpriced which we already knew, so the expectation was to get at a minimum decent service so it is worth it. That did not happen. 4. Rude unapologetic unwelcoming staff. (Language barrier perhaps). Traveled to Mexico a number of times, to the Cancun area. Never had an issue! This was a weird place. I would not recommend it based on service."
Ana y Jose Hotel & Beach Club Tulum
"We were extremely impressed with Ana and Jose! What an incredible hotel! Clean and new facilities, perfect shower and bed, fast WiFi, and such kind and polite staff. We were on our honeymoon and were treated exceptionally well. Delicious breakfast!"
