Small boutique hotel, lots of care taken, food provided was very tasty, when asked provided packed breakfast for our whale watching trip early morning, room was neat and spacious for our stay (3) friends, highly recommended , centrally located also

A very nice hotel located on the seashore The Joe s hotel at Unatunwana has one of boundaries with waves hitting it's sitting area. It is clean waters Make you forget most of the stress in everyday life (temporarily) The hotel staff who made extensive vegetarian dishes in buffet and attended to all our calls .They also packed breakfast for our train ride to Bentota .The rooms were clean and well equipped

This is an excellent place to visit if you are a beach lover. The view the sea bathing the sea accessibility all are really easy at this place. The people are so nice from the booking to the visit. Each and everyone is so friendly so lovely people and they remeber what we requested at the first place they will remeber throughout the next days. We stayed in the Junior suite it’s very spacious and gives us our own space. And the view. The room is very clean and have all the amenities we required. There Sri Lanka. Food and the pizza is so good. They will put all the ingredients to make it delicious. They are very attentive to quality and service level Really enjoyed unwatuna due to the convenience This place offered to us. Lovely place

We had amazing 2 nights at Joes Unawatuna with the friends. Staff is very friendly and helpful. This hotel has beach access and the view is amazing. Apart from all of these I have to specifically mention that their food is super delicious. Not only that but also the rooms have all the facilities that we excepted. Thank you for a memorable stay.

It's more than what we expected. A five-star class service. Highly recommended. Good food. Excellent hospitality. Awesome beach. Cozy room with all amenities. We experienced the hotel to be very peaceful too. The staff was accommodating. Significantly, the resident manager, Lasantha, needs to mention, Danuka from the Kitchen. They made us so unique and made our stay a memorable one. We love it!

The cleanest most comfortable and well priced hotel with everything needed for the first timer in wonderful Sri Lanka. We come to SL every year and were greeted and treated so well by Joe's staff who could not have been more helpful. 5 star treatment in an affordable boutique hotel. Many thanks to all the staff and chef in particular. The lobster platter was magnificent. We hope to visit again next year with family and friends X D and C

Virtually on the beach and one the best beach location. Stay was fully worth the money. Staff at the reception and the manager, Lasantha were worthy of a special mention. Sri Lankan food there was very tasty!

Location: excellent with a nice beach . We choose a ground floor room so that we can use the garden too. Room : small with all amenities. The bed was small even though they mention it to me a king size. When have younger kids opt for a triple room Food : the meals are on a set menu however not tasty. The hotel really needs to improve this aspect. Special it is not kids friendly Staff : friendly and very helpful
