We had a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The peaceful atmosphere allowed us to truly recharge, and the views of the lake were simply stunning and calming. The restaurant in the evenings had a great selection of delicious dishes, the homemade ice cream is a must try! Breakfast needs to be replenished a little faster during busy times. Our room was comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the fast laundry service—fantastic quality at a great price! We hired a scooter as the resort is out of the centre of Vang Vieng, the road to and from has many potholes so be careful!

Such an amazing place so we decided to extend our stay. The only difficulty is to get around as it’s far from the city center, but the rest is fantastic.

Great place with friendly staff, especially at the reception. Clean rooms and nice view. Clean pool overlooking the River … They need to make a proper walkway because the main entrance area floods..I ruined my sneakers.

The towels in the bathroom were used twice and not changed, but I always bring my own towels when traveling so it doesn't matter 3. The hotel's food and drinks are great, cheap and delicious, everyone must try the hotel restaurant 4. The price of an extra bed for children is very reasonable, much higher than expected 5. The hotel service is good, but you need to communicate in English, it is recommended to bring translation software, and hope that there will be staff to help with luggage at any time, even if you give a tip, you are willing

During my trip to Maldives, I accidentally saw three hotels on the north shore of Lake Nam Ngau on Google Maps, and later booked the Nam Ngau Hotel on Ctrip. The hotel front desk was very good. I arrived by motorcycle. After I arrived, I was immediately greeted, introduced the various facilities of the hotel, and helped me with my luggage. But the whole process was in English. If you don’t understand English very well, there are still some difficulties. You can try to use translation software. The hotel room is very good, with complete facilities, original decoration, comfortable bed, independent balcony, and the lake is open when you open the door. It is very similar to the style of the hotel I stayed in Maldives. The sunset in the afternoon is also very beautiful. The price of the hotel restaurant is also very affordable. The dishes are basically 2.5-4.5 $, generally 3 $, which is still very affordable. There are kayaks for rent at the hotel pier, the price is 5 $ per hour. I rented it for an hour and rowed on the endless lake. It was a very rare experience. There are also motorboats for rent, but I didn’t experience it. You can also contact nearby villagers and take a fishing boat to visit Nan'e Lake. It costs 100 RMB per boat for 2 hours, which is very worthwhile. ps I am very grateful to Jackky (or maybe Jacky) at the hotel front desk. When I checked out and paid for the kayaking fee, I found that I didn't have enough banknotes and I didn't bring a credit card, so he helped me waive the 5-dollar kayaking fee. I thank him for his understanding here, because it has been a long time since I used cash and POS machines in China... Another point is that there are very few Asian tourists here. It is a very niche place. I should be the only Asian guest in the hotel at that time.

The facilities are very complete, you can take a motorboat or yacht for a trip. The hygiene is clean and tidy. The environment is beautiful, and green waters and green mountains are gold and silver mountains. The service is in place, and it is a very suitable place for vacation and leisure.

The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are nice, clean, but there were a few BUTs: - there was no hot water, they didn't tell us and didn't fix it, and this is unfortunately a common practice - there was no towel by the pool and while we went to the reception, nothing changed - the food in the restaurant was 4 with a minus...... - there was no barbecue on the weekends - like there weren't enough people and at the same time the menu in one place says at least 5 people, and in another already 10 - in the evening there was no announced movie on the beach - the staff doesn't speak English, except for 1 person, well, that's a service issue

It is about 40 minutes away from downtown Vang Vieng, so you have to take a private shuttle to do activities in the city, but it was more quiet and nice. You can kayak or take a cruise at a place with a view of the reservoir, and if you choose an all-inclusive, you can conveniently eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the resort. The room had a nice view of the lake, and there was a sandy beach, so it was good for children to play. I applied for a cooking class and jet ski separately and rode them, which were very fun activities. The rooms at the resort were not big, but they were comfortable, and the bathrooms were not very fancy, but they were designed with the environment in mind. Overall, it was a good resort where you can be with nature, so I had a good rest. Above all, the staff were very kind! The English-speaking staff supported us in many ways, and everyone welcomed us kindly, so I had a good rest for 3 nights.

I applied for a refund less than an hour after booking, and after being rejected, I asked customer service to intervene, but to no avail. I couldn't get a taxi in a bad place, and taxis didn't want to go at night. I contacted customer service to help me deal with it, and asked the hotel to send a car to pick me up. I was willing to pay for it, but the hotel said it was too late and there was no car. The hotel knew there was no car, so why couldn't they be flexible and give me a refund? They neither refunded me nor tried to find a car to pick me up. It was almost midnight and there was no result. I found a random place to stay on the roadside.

The hotel lacks maintenance. The restaurant prices are in dollars and the exchange rate used in KIP is the illegal black market rate.

Accommodation next to the river, beautiful view, great value for the price.
