Very good location, right next to St Marks. Always felt safe walking nearby, decent complementary breakfast. Room quite small, old, tired looking - but has attached bathroom toilet which is great. Self checkin was alright, would have been nice to have someone physically there. Overall, a decent budget hotel in a nice location.

All of the pictures on booking and trip advisor show nicely decorated rooms, what we received was certainly against that trend. The laminate flooring was coming up in the whole room, horrible chemical smell from the bathroom which was to try and hide the bad plumbing smell, metal pipe work sticking out of the wall, furnishing hanging off the wall and not working. The ‘charming’ resident cat had thrown up twice on our stay on the main stairs so we had to balance coming up the narrow stairs with our cases and step over a big pile of cat sick, lovely welcoming! The only positive is the location and the staff were friendly but we were really disappointed with the state of the room that clearly isn’t advertised anywhere and for good reason! By wary of what room you get! We had 106

The hotel asked for my personal credit card information, acting against ******* policies. After ******* recommended not sharing this they proceeded and cancelled my reservation (and a friend's of mine) without previous notice just 2 days before the travel dates. These are outrageous practices that are customers must be aware of.

This is a unique property close to the action of St. Mark's Square. The hotel is a little haphazard and lacks "slickness" but makes up for it in cozy charm. The rooms are wildly decorated (I had what I called the "Dracula room") and have unique furniture. The breakfast is simple but adequate. Simple tea and coffee making facilities in the room. If you prefer a slick, corporate hotel, this is not it. But if you don't mind some quirks, offbeat decor, and everything feeling a little from the 90s then you will be right at home in this affordable and centrally-located hotel.

Great staff, very helpful. Loved the room decoration, plenty of character. The location between Rialto bridge and St Mark's square ideal - only a few minutes walk from each. Continental Breakfast, reasonable choice, and all nice and fresh. On departing day allowed us to access a little early so we could grab a bite before heading to the airport. Bed was very comfortable. Little bit of street noise but faded down early evening after surrounding shops closed their shutters so didn't cause any disturbance. All in all had a great long weekend.

Arrived early. My room was ready before noon. I expected to just have my bag held til I checked in later and was pleasantly surprised. The location was perfect. Pretty much equal distance to Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco with only 1 bridge in either direction which was good for me as I am 72 with a 45 lb suitcase and a backpack! 😳 The staff, Princess in particular, spoke excellent English and carried said suitcase up the stairs for me. No elevator but not unusual for these little cozy hotels. I got an ACTV 2 day pass for 35 euro and went pretty much anywhere just hopping on and off the waterbus. Room was tiny but perfectly adequate for a solo traveler. No tiny, empty, dark alley streets to navigate from vaporetto to hotel after dark which comes before 5 pm in late November. Highly recommend. Perhaps the staff mirrored the attitude of some of the critical reviewers. 😂🤷‍♀️

Communication before arrival was excellent. Arrived at hotel about an hour before check in time, staff very friendly explaining room not ready which was fine, walked around the area and received email half hour later stating room was ready. Room was large and clean. The TV was not tuned so feasted on YouTube before bed after a full day walking, but you are not in Venice to watch TV. The hotel website directions from the airport are a little outdated. River boat is 15 euros not 9.80 and directions from the drop off at San Marco miss out the little street between the Quadri Cafe and Calle dei Fabbri but otherwise easy to find. It is a 5 minute walk. The river boat Alilaguna Line to San Marco is the best and cheapest way to the hotel, the ride is slow, over an hour but a beautiful view. Breakfast was included but as I don't eat breakfast can't comment but on passing the dining room looked clean and others appeared to be enjoying it. In response to previous negative posts, the hotel does smell, it smells clean and fresh. The downstairs door does make a noise when slammed shut but most doors do, surely that is the fault of other inconsiderate guests not the hotel. Venice is full of narrow walkways and bridges, a nightmare if pulling a suitcase between hotel and grand canal drop off points, I felt sorry for some of the tourists dragging their cases up and down staircases and through the busy narrow walkways. For Hotel Noemi there is only one small bridge. I would definitely recommend the hotel for comfort, location and friendliness.

We stayed in a room that opened directly into the breakfast dining area - it was the only one like this so hopefully the other rooms are better. Room was directly over the front door - a heavy metal door that makes a racket when it closes (it sounds especially loud late at night when you’re trying to sleep). Old building, dated decor in room was musty, smelled of extremely pungent cleaning products - the smell was nauseating and after leaving the hotel my clothes still smelled of it. Low ceilings. Mould on bathroom ceiling. Very very small room/bathroom. I’m not a big person but I was almost unable to fit in the shower. Minimal space to hang clothes. Two single beds pushed together to make a queen. Two positives: 1)continental breakfast was good and included hard boiled eggs, granola, pastries, cheese/meat plate, great jams/Nutella, cappuccino maker/tea Access. 2)The three staff we met were friendly and helpful.
